Can any chartists here recommend a good place to start, I've got a few books (the obvious ones), but wonder where people go to search for set ups etc. I never gave charts much credence but I'm starting to think it can't hurt to have another edge!

Lott's - I am particularly interested in the price of silver. It has broken through a significant moving average and I can see it moving much higher over the next few months. AAU produce a lot of the stuff.

Charles, you are mesmerised by the divi. All stocks require traders as well as investors, but this is not tradable and there are stocks out there paying far higher dividend than this one. If all you are here for is dividend then I suggest you do a bit more research and invest in those paying 9% and above.

Spread be damned. What I think many potential investors (not traders) are missing here is the dividend payments - it's money for nothing and it's here for the taking.

Guess it makes sense to have some JORC estimates in place to get appropriate value from the IPO.What a buy 50 percent of Venus has turned out to be!!!

Doesn't seem as though we will see Venus list in Q1:-

we are pleased to see the progress being made by Venus Minerals towards its proposed IPO in London and we look forward to continuing our involvement in their exploration and development plans.

-- Venus Minerals, of which Ariana owns 50%, completed its drilling programmes in Cyprus during 2021 and has been completing mineral resource estimates for the Magellan and Apliki Projects, prior to the commencement of a planned IPO in London.

Also, total amount traded today amounts to around £30k. There's just no interest in the sector at the moment but that will change in the next few months imo
