Yes, 60 million Euros net cash at current spot price (which is flying up today!).Then find some more copper and mic in some higher grade Venus only material and Bob is in fact your uncle :-)

i didn't see a feb start date but found this in venus minerals oct 2021 presentation, last page:

that same rns (12/10/2021) also says:

i have not heard about this being concluded, maybe i missed it?

heads of terms are usually non-binding, but whether binding or non-binding it does not provide all the detail required to fully complete a deal.

a quick search gave me this:

The binding parts usually include provisions relating to:
confidentiality;
exclusivity (to prevent the parties dealing with others while the contract is being finalised); and

given the lack of news i suggest the full agreement is taking longer to complete than originally anticipated, i would not be surprised to see slippage on the feb date. bwdik!

Konil - 12th October - Binding heads of terms agreement....

Venus Minerals has completed a binding Heads of Terms agreement with a leading mining company in Cyprus for a 50:50 Joint Venture for the development of the Apliki Copper Mine ("Apliki"); Venus is to be the operator of Apliki.

No news is frustrating - I even had to double check that it was a binding agreement lol.

seeing as we have not heard anything at all about the ipo my guess is they will not get the ipo funds to start construction until march earliest. not sure about the exact ipo process but likely to take some weeks by the time prospectus is prepared, sent out, yada yada...

granted that does not push 12 months to 18, but probably other delays will unfold as usual in such projects.

like i said before if the apliki jv deal is agreed, aau could probably fund the entire eur5m build cost (aau's share and a loan to the other partners) to avoid delays...but that probably weakens the ipo marketing.

so its not just the ipo we need to hear about but also completion of the apliki jv (unless i missed it!).

all blind guessing in continued absence of news.

The construction was never due to start until February so there's still time to stay in track... nine months build and then cash flowing in without debt as cap ex is only five million euros!(All according to the Venus presentation)

15th November announcement:
· Over 2,300m of resource and exploration drilling planned at Salinbas to increase confidence in resource and extend the peripheries of the current model.

· Over 2,000m of resource drilling planned at Tavsan prior to commencement of mining.

My bet is 6 month production report as next RNS, 2-1 Thursday or evens next week. But as there is so much news due, it could be one of half a dozen, what is certain is the sun will rise tomorrow.

Given how things are still snarled up Lotts I wouldn't expect drill results from Tavsan and Salinbas until late Feb at the earliest. I think we are still awaiting news from the remaining drills at Kiz?

It would be nice to get something this week to kick us off though.
