I dont understand, a protest against who, all you are doing is penalising the Turkish employees, who for whatever reason cannot cash in their bonus's.

Plas

Dont ask why the world is crazy, just keep picking up the shares at these low prices.

Reference our Cyprus interests via Venus, have you been watching the copper chart.
I wish I could post the chart but couldn't find how to do it. Anyway, last March 2020 the price of copper was c.$2000. Today it is $3746. How much value, if indeed any, do you think we have in our current Market Cap. for our copper interests? Or we could look at Silver which has gone from $15 per oz to $27 per oz. And finally Gold has gone from a low of $1472 to $1820. When are we going to get real?

I have just over 1% of the company and started investing in them since approx 2014. I am not happy with how they have been communicating with the shareholders. I have decided to vote against resolution 3 (share purchase) as a protest

I don't know how the company could be clearer re the buy back it's to facilitate workers selling and when the company buys shares back it at a what is a very undervalued price. A win win. It's not to buy directors options. And Paul totally correct.

at this rate i do hope they get the divi out in time for xmas 2021!

hopefully jv completion will be announced soon that should nicely rejuvenate the share price

on the operational front i fear everything new may be on hold until the jv is actually completed.

Paul..I used the term support not massively impact...but hopefully it will mean the same thing.

Forget share buybacks, mining twice as much from RR and opening Tavshan will have the huge effect we're looking for. Then Salinbas, Cyprus and whatever else Kerim has his eye on!

Plasy, my worry is that when those who think the buyback will have a massive impact on the share price and it doesn't happen will start criticising the directors and using it to de-ramp the company.

Spot on Paul. I totally concur. Nothing to fret about.

I think you are reading too much into the buy back, it will just be small amounts bought from employees in Turkey and sold back into the market.

Pros and cons here... the potential buyback of upto 50 million shares here should certainly support the share price going forward... however at current levels this will create a potential £2.5 million slush fund for future rewards. At least todays newsflow shows that they need to be very transparent in their future dealings otherwise.....

This sounds like quite a bit of mither for the "occasional purchase of employee shares"; is the real motive xow98's #3655 post above?

Nothing in the Q&A about cancelling the purchased shares, so that is up to 5% of the equity that will be available as a management incentive.

he potential buy-back of the Company's shares is primarily focussed on the occasional purchase of employee shares to assist them with what would have been an otherwise difficult process of realising their shares received via the Company's incentive scheme. It is not intended for the wholesale purchase of the Company's shares via market purchase or the purchase of director's share options.

They doing the solicitor stuff like getting paper work ready to change licenses and ownership immediately on completion I assume. Must be a lot of paperwork much of which couldn't be done until they were definitely going ahead. So think we assume it's done and all progress re drilling salinbas being prepared for. With this timing of dividend say May , drilling will have started in salinbas and many will convert dividend into further shares on basis of results at salinbas which will mean the share price imho will increase post dividend not drop. May be a bit of volatility around this time but it's not going to be like a normal div and share price goes ex div. This should be a cracking year for news flow and if salinbas and Cyprus are anything like the board anticipate then who knows.

I'm hoping that is before the drill results but we all know that ones a bit hard to judge! Near future is all I retained on that front.

So what's the thinking on the completion of the JV? Can it still drop anytime or are we waiting on the GM timetable?
