Did you mean to say you didn't agree with cc post. From what I see I don't see KS seeing this as a lifestyle company at all. He's far too active to be viewed as that in my view

It sure I agree with that Charles, with the direction or should I say direction the company is going it does look to me as lifestyle position. My understanding of a lifestyle position is one where management plod alone making reasonable profits but don't do anything to rock the boat, no risks no ambition. Don't think that applies here, well i know it doesn't .

And we shareholders dont want management time wasted on countering any unwanted approach, we have an empire to build.

Yes the old poison pill. Or maybe he just likes the comfort of a lifestyle company.

Was waiting for an entry myself to add to my position again so just bit the bullet and had another £10k worth on the dip. Now I’ve bought no doubt it will dip further! 🥴

shortarm, gotchya. ta.

at some point, probably after the ozaltin deal, all the partners (aau, proccea, ozaltin) would do well to simplify the assets/holdings/corporate structure etc. complexity in these matters doesn't usually lend itself to best pricing by markets due to unclarity/uncertainty.

but difficult to see what they could do, other than perhaps creating an over-arching entity to cover all the jv assets?

excuse my rambling.

An AIM 'tiddler' paying a dividend with massive growth potential in various regions, a new JV just around the corner for delivery of a massive new gold mining project, a new revenue stream coming on line soon - pinch me, is this for real :-)

My sentiments coincide with your own, the video comments made me think they have other plans for the cash, which is fine, but does delay the "dividend paying era" I wish to see, mainly because of the new investors it would attract.

He's intimated on several occasions that Reg divs will start with tarsvan production ie two years. My view is one off divi now money put aside for divi next year then regs start, don't see point in missing a year when they have the cash. This way we are seen as a dividend payer which will significantly increase shareprice by attracting new investors.

Cash distribution from JV to Ariana was the meaning I believe.

ah, i misunderstood, thought post 24369 was suggesting a cash distribution prior to deal being signed. thanks for clarification.

there is also that silver hoard that aau have that is getting more valuable by the day (unless it has already been sold).

Honestly don't know but wouldn't think so. If I was the board I'd get all cash from current JV, ozaltin and Proccea , assess what is required for next three years , pay dividend one off, keep reserve for smaller dividend next year to tide over until tarsvan producing when Reg dividends have been promised . The decision would then be made as to one off dividend but they've intimated that that will equate to what they get for salinbas. My personal view is that if they get cash from Proccea for salinbas then the dividend may be slightly higher than expected. But a lot of conjecture in the above.

bb, do you expect a cash payment to shareholders from aau prior to signing the deal with ozaltin? and then a one-off divi c.$5m?

Should be one hell of a cash pot soon, hoping myself for a little correction but it doesn't seem to be materialising as of yet. Buy the dips situation now for sure.
