Bert Munro doesn't seem to be getting the message across with hummingbird pal. But he was successful as getting institutional monies in when price was 50% higher than it was now. If it is a company where Kerim is a non exec director then you have to argue that he would know the company inside out and would only put money into a venture with potentially excellent returns as he's done in the past.

Picking up on the points raised.
1. Updated Resource into an updated Reserve giving us an extend Life of Mine of 10 years plus from now. This has been talked about for some time and I got the impression from Michael recently that he saw this as very crucial to completing the Ariana investment jigsaw. Yes it isn't a 5 minute job, and requires exacting desk work taking the drill results which are of course still coming in. But whereas Michael hoped originally it would be completed by year end, we are now looking at H1 - 2020. Hopefully they will update us on this timescale soon. If not we need to ask. Now we have our own laboratory this sort of work should be easier and more under our time controls.
2. Cyprus - I agree it was a nonsense to announce this so soon and set the hare running with such a long lead in time to confirmation. It raises doubts and questions regarding funding and how that will impact on our already stated priorities, namely to accelerate Tavsan into production and prove up Salinbas. Not only in terms of cash but also management attention as well. It seems very naive to communicate it in the way they did.
If ASH on LSE is right and it is the private Co. Venus Minerals (Copper etc.) where Kerim is a Non Executive director with Harry Adams as Chairman I think that may also be associated with some negatives connotations.
3. Communication - What is currently being done isn't working. It is a waste of time simply doing more of the same. We need a new approach. They need to focus on what investors want to hear, not highfaltin geology stuff. Bert Monroe, if any of you have heard him present, could teach them a thing or two about how to go about this. We have such a great story to tell, but currently no one is listening. The valuation disconnect must be a priority issue for the Board imo.

Cyprus is copper and gold or that's what I've understood. I also feel news should be imminent based on the fact they mentioned it over a month ago.

Brad I asked directly about life of mine when I had a chat the other week. It's not that simple unfortunately, to convert a number of drill results into definitive verified life of mine albeit they know it will be significant longer than expected. Sure there would be a way to hunt at that fact but that's not oh Reims style so don't hold your breath on that score. Yes I'd like more meat on the bone and the question regarding undervalued shareprice (my opinion ) needs to be addressed.

Should we anything be read into Ariana suddenly retweeting articles on copper?

Good point Plas. What attitude? At the moment AAU is in the doldrums, probably as bad as I have ever seen it. The total number of deals in its shares this week hasn't even broken double figures - cant get much more disinterest than that!

In Kerim's interviews next week we don't want to hear bland comments on how well things are progressing. Instead we want detailed news re life of mine enhancement and their explanation to the current share price ...not the usual shrug of the shoulders but concrete plans on how to promote the story. The time for second guessing is gone...we need meat on the bones and as Plas said news of a coherent dividend strategy. Anything less in the context of presumably good quarterlies will appear as another cop out.

I find myself in total agreement with Biggles. Get the accounting sorted, pay a nominal dividend to show long term intent but retain the majority within the company to facilitate development. Otherwise the exploration, especially in NE Turkey, will be just too slow to produce full value within a reasonable timescale. I doubt we will see a divi until the capital loan is confirmed as repaid and there is significant net cashflow into the JV going forwards.

Spot on Soulsauce. I also own UJO & RBD and have been amazed by the reaction. However down to a silly seller playing games I'm told. Who knows. I also think everything has been on hold until the election is done and the Brexit direction known. That is thankfully looking more assured now. I have ticked you up also, but I do agree with your comments anyway.

Morning chaps. You all know my feelings over the years of why the share price is where it is, but I wouldn't be too bewildered at the moment as there is very little gaining traction currently in this market even with good news.

Case in point, RBD & UJO that have just stumbled upon the largest UK oil find in a number of years and both SP's down since the news. I see AAZ has also succumbed.
My others are all struggling and in a big way apart from PTAL.

Should have Quarterlies tomorrow, good luck all.

Marked you up Plasybryn in advance lol.

They said they are currently working on the accounting aspects to pave way for a dividend as that is one of their goals. I have no reason to doubt them in that regard. As to timing of any dividend would be up for debate. My preference would be for a small dividend to show it is feasible and plough bulk of money back into company to realise its potential. Suppose an announcement to the market that they have done the necessary behind the scenes manoeuvres to facilitate a dividend may placate a number of posters but more important the wider investment market.

biggles - I agree with you on a number of points. I am conscious of the fact that the market just can't seem to grasp that AAU is a serious producer with a very low cost of production. I think the share price should already be 5p+ and that's without Salinbas. Let's hope Kerim can pull a rabbit out of the hat that will make the market sit up. Perhaps a small dividend would do it.

Hi biggles,

Progress there certainly has been, however the share price has nearly doubled in the last year to reflect this. I believe it is the backward looking data in the half year report ie PE of around 10 which might be putting new investors off.

I am very hopeful that the share price will show similar progress over then next 12 months.

Hi Charles don't get me wrong this is NOT a realistic shareprice and I do get frustrated with it. I am very much aligned to Panmure gordon's price or 5p for gold at $1500. We have definitely not got the message across satisfactory and this is my biggest frustration with Ariana. However I'm a strong believer that fundamentals win through. There are many potential catalysts to increase the share price over the next six months leading up to cap ex repayment . Ash did an excellent projection on LSE of projected shareprice backed by realistic projections. I don't think 5p will be the end game far from it , but I do believe patience is required. I still feel Salinbas is very much on the table regarding various options including sale ( which brings in an Eurasia scenario) but they have to go down the route of mining it to increase the value and show potential buyers that they aren't at a buyers mercy. or an alternative strategy if the right price isn't met.

Evening Moneymaker, very wise words. The grass may be greener in the short term, but that comes with the risk of getting spiked and sitting on losses for some time to come. Far better, if you can view this as an investment for 2-3 years more to sit tight and bide you’re time. The rewards will come for those that are patient. For those that want shorter term rewards, you have a decision to make....
Cheers, Ash

The share price here will start going up once the full year financials are announced and again when the first divi is announced. They have some of the best fundamentals I’ve seen in a long time for a junior mining company. They’re making a slow and steady profit, the share price will eventually follow.

Biggles - if we dont get a fair share price by xmas I doubt we ever will. Too little progress and I dont really know why. The share price should be much higher than this.
