01/11/2019 12:51 | So this company produces 25,000 oz gold per annum at a 500$ all sustaining cost? And has a £20M mcap? | mick1909
01/11/2019 12:39 | I have a feeling with the build up of bees that some buying is inevitable | bigglesbingham
01/11/2019 12:13 | Quite small trades - either way - are giving very large movements in share price it seems. Any one want to try buying a million or so. | thanksamillion
01/11/2019 10:32 | 8rad: I do recall the handle Bean Runner, but memory is struggling! swallowsflysouth: interesting to hear you think Ariana can be a 20 bagger. Is that from here or say from 1p. Do you have a time in mind? By the way,I assume your dress was full length! Clearly if they can at some point repeat what Mariana Resources did with Hot Maden, then that is entirely possible imo. I mean we already have 1m ozs and an exploration target of 2.7m ozs, so 4 million ozs plus does seem possible. Due to the difficult terrain I'm assuming the grades will however need to be fairly good to make the numbers work. Talking of numbers there is a new spread sheet and interesting commentary from ASH over on LSE if you haven't already seen it. It is frustrating here right now, as the market refuses to take notice of the progress being made and the closeness to value accretive news. I hope the Board are asking themselves some searching questions and acknowledge why doing more of the same in terms of the communication isn't likely to change things.Having said that I think there are so many other cracking smaller Co's with great potential that are in the same position as us, so it might be all down to sentiment, which at some point will inevitably change. The catalyst might be a strong run in the price of gold. Out of interest Ariana has an investment in Royal Road Minerals (RYR.V) I believe, albeit small, which seems to be doing quite well. Another investment, Kingston Resources (KSN.AX) was doing ok but fell back recently. | plasybryn
31/10/2019 22:10 | Maybe some of those "dark suits", swallows, spoke Spanish rather than Welsh. Either way you did well to jump ship in time. Eventually I took notice of a certain bertybillion who everyone else seemed to hate 'cos he kept warning us all. I had also lost out with a very small gamble on CMR (Cambridge Mineral Resources). I've still got their certificate 'cos it has never officially gone pop. These days I get twitchy when a Managing Director or a (celebrity person) Chair resigns for "personal reasons". We've seen more than our share among AIM miners and oilers. Let's hope for improvement next month. At least sterling has risen against the US$ so my UK monthly money will go further in the casino. | desertjoe
31/10/2019 21:24 | Plas...perhaps you remember me at MMl in a previous life as Bean Runner. Happy days. | 8rad
31/10/2019 19:12 | Plas, think Geoff had a cancer issue, could be wrong, i often am. I was in MML early days 2008, 20 bagger for me. However, only managed to hold on to a certain amount of that. Should have taken more off the table than i did. Such is life, a learning curve. Still have a tiny holding there. Maybe meet at AGM, not sure what i'm doing at the moment so many commitments ! I have high hopes of AAU being a 20 bagger. Just getting a bit inpatient with a fear of dying of old age before it materialise. That however is the nature of being explorers, be it in this case a producer at the same time. | swallowsflysouth
31/10/2019 18:50 | Geoff was a fine guy. He wasn't ill; he just wanted to retire. You may recall he had to come back for a short stint when his replacement made a dogs dinner of it. He was a great guy and Roy the FD. S P Angel (wasn't called that then ) used to invite me to MML "working lunches" with the directors. It was a ten Bagger for me, so hold it in fond memories. My daughters wrote to Geoff to thank him for clearing their University loans! I can't say I recall you. Sorry. Perhaps we'll meet at the next AAU AGM? | plasybryn
31/10/2019 18:23 | Plas, probably MML, i went to several of their presentations, did like Geoff, shame he retired, health issues i guess. I was the silver haired older female. | swallowsflysouth
31/10/2019 14:21 | Something up with advfn's share price charts today they keep changing. | thanksamillion
31/10/2019 14:06 | MML & CEY yes, but never been to an Arian Silver one. | plasybryn
31/10/2019 14:04 | I'm sure we have. | plasybryn
31/10/2019 14:02 | Desertjoe, instinct is a strange thing, i had completely forgotten about how i felt when I was at the AGQ meeting. Looking at about 12 heavily built men in their dark suits who were all directors/management | swallowsflysouth
31/10/2019 12:48 | Desertjoe, i've not seen any dicfromrugby or 'richard' posts for a good while. He did seem to like travelling to thailand and was always mentioning 'ladyboys' for some reason. Maybe he moved over there to further his spiritualism. No surprises in the market today. Gold up...AAU down. Perfectly normal. | 2tyke
31/10/2019 11:17 | I have a feeling we may have met Plas at the same agm/presentation or possibly a AGQ or MML one. Desertjoe i sat at AGQ meeting looking at the management and felt i was at a mafia meeting. When i got home i sold my AGQ holding, what a good move that was. | swallowsflysouth
31/10/2019 07:11 | Absolutely, Plasybryn. He had some concerns for his health at times and I just hope he is ok. Bedtime for me now (12.10am PST). | desertjoe
31/10/2019 07:05 | For me, paul280i, the similarity of the company names got me curious. I just didn't trust the Taffies running Arian and sold my shares, albeit with some loss. As it happens I re-invested in Ariana and you know the rest....and my pessimism!. | desertjoe
31/10/2019 06:57 | I also met him at a CEY AGM. He does have a habit of suddenly popping up out of the blue, so let's hope this exchange brings him out of hibernation. He had some very sporty valuations for AAU & was also super confident it would deliver. Here's to that. | plasybryn
31/10/2019 06:57 | Thanks for your response, swallows. dic and I first exchanged views on gold maybe a decade ago via the similarly named Arian (Silver). The firm turned out to be disastrous for its investors but I think the rump of it goes on as UFO (Alien Metals). No matter how much we disagreed, not once did "richard" resort to profanities or personal attack and I am sure you have identified his character accordingly. | desertjoe
31/10/2019 00:46 | I met Dicfromrugby years ago at a CEY AGM i think. A very upfront, honest and likeable person. Lost contact with him, his email address is no longer accessible. | swallowsflysouth
30/10/2019 22:34 | DJ, I've not seen anything from him for a few months. He had said he had spent some time in hospital. If it wasn't for him I would probably never had heard of this company, not sure if that was a good thing. I hope he is OK. | paul280i
30/10/2019 21:52 | Sorry that professed belief of dicfromrugby should have read Buddhist. I've got finger trouble methinks! | desertjoe
30/10/2019 21:49 | paul280i/2tyke/anyon | desertjoe
30/10/2019 21:20 | Are we saying after all these years Jubilee Platinum (JLP) might be worth a punt notwithstanding a rather second rate management? | plasybryn |
