I think this is one share that I will be easing my EUA profits into when the deal is finally done, but not yet. I don't want to miss out on further gains at EUA and this doesn't look like going anywhere in the next couple of months at least so there is plenty of breathing space.

Brilliant results. Not much longer to wait until this starts going up. Once the loans paid off I think we’ll start seeing a lot more news on other projects as they’ll be injecting cash into those. I just wish I had some spare pennies to increase my holding whilst the share price is still so low.

So are you thinking we will get news on the Cyprus strategy on Monday ahead of the roadshow? Or perhaps more drill results from Red Rabbit or an update on Tavsan. Momentum building perhaps.

My post on LSE. Might be of interest here as well.
I note 55174 tonnes of ore was milled this quarter at a head grade of 4.47g/t compared to 48132 tonnes last quarter at a grade of 4.18 g/t. So that is encouraging. Production of ore was 47933 tonnes compared to 43367 last quarter.
Operating cash cost of production was also slightly down from last quarter - $540 compared to $589.
It would be interesting to know how grades are holding up at the new mining operations of Arzu North & Derya.
The big jump is of course this quarter is in the adjusted realised price taking account of the silver, up from $1496 to $1696 per oz. (Up $200 - £155 per oz.) Nice. I believe a $100 uplift in the price of gold adds circa £2.5m annually to the bottom line.
"Gold will be explosive unlike anything we've seen" says Canada's billionaire Frank Giustra. Look out his recent interview on Kitco YouTube.

Is anyone attending the Ariana meeting on Monday evening?

Will Kerim give an interview today or not because of next weeks meeting?
Don't see how people have bought for 2.10 today, the only quotes I have been getting since 8 have been for 2.18 until now. Now the MMs seem so short of stock that I could only get a buy quote for 1000 and that was at 2.2

Early repayments are not permitted under the terms of the debt as far as I understand. However the loan is suppose to be 90% cleared by end of year with a 10% tail running out to April.
FCF therefore will be uplifted as we enter the new year. Exciting or what. The 2 big issues now are:-
1. Increased Resource & Life of Mine for Kiziltepe
2. Firm Tavsan plans
3. Confirmation of Cyprus plans.
Lots beside of course to create value (Salinbas, Kizilcukur, Kepez etc.) but for me these are the 3 that will be realised short term.

With another quarters profits tucked away it is abundantly cleat debt could now be totally cleared. That announcement coupled with a definite dividend strategy statement would prove irresistible even to the most sceptical of punter.

Hi bigglesbingham, some forward looking speculation in the price wouldn't go amiss. Rather than being valued on what has gone before, how about what is due?

I still reckon as someone else mentioned above - it might take the debt repayment for the re-rating.

Perhaps with the extra cash they could the off early and announce it . . . . .

Just a thought.

Like to see more progress on Tavsan too.

Its not that far off a small uplift, 250k buy just gone through and small buy earlier at 2.18 shows its pushing near to the top.

Well for one I am here to make money, so I would like to see an increase in the share price I don’t think that is asking too much, lest I lose sight of why I actually hold the shares.

It looks as if buyers are actually avoiding this despite repeatedly excellent results. Unloved and unwanted but not dropping - what more could one ask at this stage?

After such excellent figures I have to say Kerim's statement was very matter of fact again.
Sitting on the sidelines it hardly inspired me that the share price was going to kick on.

Highly geared,... spot on.

Oh and the imminent breakout to and through $1650 gold may help slightly. ;o)

AAU is a superbly run company. As regards share price and valuation....
AAZ has been ‘the darling’ of the small cap miners and currently valued at c £158 million on 85,000 GEO. If you were to multiply up AAU share of production to 85k then you get a market cap of c £145 million. AAZ is debt free and dividend paying. So, on market comparable, AAU valuation about right?

The step forward on valuation for AAU will be to complete debt payment, start paying a dividend and most importantly, increase the amount of gold produced. Tavsan needs to be brought into production.

The shares look a gift at the current price but maybe the market knows something that we don't. Why aren't punters all over this obvious cash cow candidate?
