30/9/2019 14:11 | Good call JD. | soulsauce
30/9/2019 14:06 | Yes Soul, just been looking at. Chesterfields MC is about £2m. Seems small enough to acquire for cash rather than by paper? I imagine their share price rise is more due to AAUs statement rather than their results. We'll see. Never thought of AAU as relatively large before! Funny MDV said they have been looking at for 2 years....Chesterfied were admitted to LSE 29th August 2017. Coincidence? | jaynesdad
30/9/2019 13:54 | Certainly don't trust the trades shown on here. My purchase earlier is shown as a sale, worried me enough to log into my trading amount to make sure I hadn't pressed the wrong button. Thankfully I hadn't and the share price has recovered somewhat. Happy Days. So generally, this mornings RNS was as expected with some tantalising hints about a new prospect and advanced talks on a JV in Salinbas. Looking forward to Q3 production now as we know the average POG over the period has been iro $1500 throughout. | jaynesdad
30/9/2019 13:28 | Thanks, that is what I thought they meant, but just checking I hadn't missed something. | xow98
30/9/2019 13:24 | I think it simply means that with no loan to pay off we will get the full 50% as income rather than 50% minus share of loan repayment. | backmarker
30/9/2019 13:13 | Bought another 350k, not showing on Level 2 yet. From Proactive report: "The company has now paid off 78% of the £26mln (US$33mln) loan taken out for its flagship mine Kiziltepe in Turkey, a 50/50 joint venture with Proccea Construction Co. Once the construction loans are repaid, Ariana will receive a much larger, pro-rata share of Kiziltepe’s income." I don't understand the much larger, pro-rata bit. The split is still 50/50 isn't it? | xow98
30/9/2019 12:54 | Nicely Ash thanks. | soulsauce
30/9/2019 12:44 | Hi Soul, the first half a dozen have already been submitted and the rest will be submitted by individual members by tomorrow morning. I may add one or two more directly relating to the interim numbers as I want to understand more about the jump in admin costs (nearly double the run-rate last year) and lower than anticipated finance costs (mine asset amortisation + loan interest) in the JV numbers. Cheers, Ash | m20ash
30/9/2019 12:44 | The company and broker are costing people money ? What are you on about ? Don't assume your biased ideas are in any way correct. The only people responsible for individual losses....are individuals. | 2tyke
30/9/2019 12:22 | catsick it probably doesn't eventually but the over conservatism of both the company and broker is costing people money. Don't get me wrong I don't want them to BS like some companies but be a bit braver and confident in your own company for God's sake. | soulsauce
30/9/2019 12:15 | I don't think a broker target really matters, the rate at which the mines are spewing off cash will see us rerated in the end especially if they prove adept at re investing the cash into decent new exploration targets. | catsick
30/9/2019 12:03 | bigglesbingham thanks for the PG stuff. I think I have said enough on that issue in the past but glad to say more are waking up to it. I am still to be persuaded as to what they have done for us. I know Plas argues it is what they will do for us in future but that future gets ever farther out and so I am far from convinced on that one. They are as much to blame as anything for the share price malaise. I think 50k pa from RR is doubtful. I am hoping they can get a second ball mill in and up production with the ore from kizilcukur and Irvindi. Thanks to Charles for bringing Chesterfield to our attention. | soulsauce
30/9/2019 11:20 | It is very young I agree but it they have quality licenses and new techniques to exploit proven resources then may be worth a punt both on personal And corporate level. | bigglesbingham
30/9/2019 11:15 | I've emailed Kerim and michael directly regarding this . Having sad that I spoke to michael about it last time they issued a note with the target 3.18p but then the gold price was between 1200-1350 now to quote that is showing conservatism beyond comprehension imho some would go further and say incompetent but I'll go with over conservative. Don't think AAU get a say in the content but PG have to be made accountable for lost marketing opportunities and this is another one. Rest of note is positive . | bigglesbingham
30/9/2019 11:05 | Mind blowing stuff...its like they have a vested interest in holding us back. Surely this must be one of the first questions to ask tomorrow. | 8rad
30/9/2019 10:59 | Worth a clear up is that!! 100K minimum is four times the current output tthough, 150K is six times..... With all the talk of another ball mill etc..... | shortarm
30/9/2019 10:51 | Pan Gordon out with a filenote stating price target 3.18p however THEIR value matrix in their main note states value at 3.15p with 12% discount and gold price £1100. At £1500 and discount 10% THEIR target price is 5p!!! Why oh why can't they seize on opportunities to sell the company story?? I realise they pride themselves on being ultra conservative but come on get a bit commercial!!!! | bigglesbingham
30/9/2019 10:30 | Picked up another 500k @ 2.21 again on a sudden dip this morning, back up to 2.24 (offer) now. I must stop this! | jaynesdad
30/9/2019 10:17 | JD - your figures strike a chord. I would also love to be proved wrong. | charles clore
30/9/2019 10:08 | dixi - the price does as expected. I might take advantage of that before lunch. If Chesterfield is linking up with AAU I believe we could see a nice premium there. | charles clore
30/9/2019 10:03 | If anybody is on the fence about investing in AAU, I would suggest that now is as a good a time as any to start to take notice. Usual muted price reaction is obviously not inspiring though. | dixi
30/9/2019 09:57 | Kerim has a nose for minerals mining opportunities. He is sensible, measured and doesn't rush into things. I am confident that his judgement can be relied upon. | charles clore
30/9/2019 09:42 | I'd be disappointed if it were CHF. Far too early stage for my liking | the deacon
30/9/2019 09:33 | Having a look at chf as an investment the chairman's statement could have been written by kerim it has that feel with emphasis on new satellite techniques and well educated team etc. Bought 50000 as that's all I could get hold off. Cheers for research done on this board. Still think antimony will be AAUs investment but chf has a story in own right and 1.2m in cash as catstick says can yield some good results. | bigglesbingham |
