10/9/2021 11:43 | Yes Kaos talking a lot of sense today...income streams and all that and I have to agree with Zangdook's opinion on Kerim's in-tray compilation. | ![]() 8rad
10/9/2021 10:01 | I think Kaos got it right, to most casual observers we are a good exploration company with a minority share of a small mine in Turkey. I do agree, we need a cash cow that's 100% within our control. | ![]() rjwoodrjwood
10/9/2021 09:58 | But that will be too late, I took the bet that the general market is on a bit of a downer so sold Value Inv Trust a week ago after it went ex divi to buy in here while price subdued. Will reverse these trades later. It is a risk I know, but feel its the right call. | ![]() thanksamillion
10/9/2021 09:48 | Can't we all agree to stop buying until I can spend my dividend here??Then you're all free to purchase away! - I'll let you know when lol | ![]() shortarm
10/9/2021 09:28 | Found 5K down back of sofa, good price to top up today. | ![]() thanksamillion
10/9/2021 09:04 | And Kerim has got the company involved with both :-D | ![]() shortarm

10/9/2021 08:21 | Kaos- I agree with you totally, but for me it suits, not saying its right, but it does suit me, I plan to accumulate for a good while, or until the big boys come in, in between time I get more for my money, little an often, up and down, I have brought at 2.5p and at 6.8p and will continue as funds allow up to 9, that's when I will sit back and (hopefully) be rewarded with a significant increased M Cap and regular dividends. All in the knowledge that they also have the potential to find something really special, so for me, solid growth, likely dividends, de-risked, shared costs in mine development(2x)curre | ![]() renniks2016
10/9/2021 07:47 | Renninks - you stressed it before - and I agreed to this fact with you explicitly. I am not about their tech , geo and operational brilliance and honesty (low all inclusive costs prove no corruption on that level). I am about the vision and strategy and communicating it to the big money. I am saying how probably institutions think - when they look at it. And until institution buy with their big money - we PI will be flipping shares and moaning. Even accumulators expect some serious cash in time. This can be provided by the divis or rising share price - which big money buyers (institutions) can provide. | ![]() kaos3
10/9/2021 07:28 | Kaos,I think you underestimate the strength and depth of Team Ariana, there is so much more to this company thank KS. | ![]() renniks2016
10/9/2021 06:57 | I think we are "spreading" around too much and hence we are too thin getting lots of structural ccsts, hard to follow, evaluate and supervise - and being thin is natural risk. We got ourselfs a JV hopeful cash cow at this stage - we need our own cash cow that we control - hence much less risky. a strong and reliable critical mass fully owned back bone. asset flipping is good to a certain point - but it is risky and has no stability compared to real functioning fully owned mine (like bank getting their profits from lending vs FX speculation) until we get wholly owned operational predictability, critical mass and regular divi strategy - most institutions will avoid (wheeling and dealing is not what they invest in - they do it) I think strategy must be set - to build own mine and operate own mine with one of the best assets - and all that asset flipping, JVs, etc are just a tool to finance it all imho JAF - your above post is what I am saying on here all the time (for many AIM stocks) ..... good morning and glad you think the same | ![]() kaos3
10/9/2021 00:43 | I don't think they can attract income funds when the dividend is explicitly a special and there is no definite timetable for starting regular dividends. The third payment is mentioned: Meanwhile, we look forward to providing further updates regarding the record and payment dates for the second and third tranches of the Special Dividend in due course I suspect what happened is that someone finally realised that they hadn't announced the actual payment date and told them they had to put out an RNS, and they stuck in the bit about Asgard just to make it sound as though there was something more to say. It's a bit embarrassing, really, to have to announce the dividend twice because they ballsed up the first announcement. This way it sounds more like a general positive update with multiple bits and pieces. Probably Asgard was on top of the pile of papers on his desk so he picked on that. | zangdook

09/9/2021 20:58 | And then you woke up Plasybryn 😄 | ![]() soulsauce
09/9/2021 20:47 | I agree soulsauce that a Panmure Gordon Note is now well overdue but as I said perhaps it is better to stay shtum at least until the interim dividend is paid and everyone can buy more shares on the cheap. After that let the news roll out, let the bells ring, let the share price disconnect be broadcast far and near, loud and clear. | ![]() plasybryn
09/9/2021 20:39 | Again Plasybryn many things a broker ought to cover. Maybe because the 3rd tranche has to be voted on at the Agm. | ![]() soulsauce
09/9/2021 20:36 | Being cheerful - Just two weeks to wait now. I expect many will hope the share price remains depressed so they can use all, or at least some of the generous payout, to accumulate more shares at a discount. | ![]() plasybryn
09/9/2021 20:35 | Is there any reason the third & final tranche of the payout isn't mentioned in this latest RNS. Is it just too far away to be time relevant. | ![]() plasybryn
09/9/2021 20:25 | Like others I really don't get why Kerim highlighted this . Quote:- In particular, we are very excited to be advancing our Project Catalyst Strategy for Tier 1 exploration assets across multiple new projects and in new jurisdictions in the coming months via the Asgard Metals Fund. They may be excited but surely this will be small beer in the scheme of things for some time yet. Please can someone explain his thinking? | ![]() plasybryn
09/9/2021 20:21 | I think it is more simple than. The Co hasn't got the ear of the City. They are great at what they do but don't have the experience, the expertise or even perhaps the inclination to know how to court the movers & shakers. With such a large distribution of cash it should have been straightforward to attract Income Funds and other Institutional investors. It seems the moment has passed & no new significant investors have come on board. We need a Corporate Business Development Director with good contacts and knowledge of the City and its workings. | ![]() plasybryn
09/9/2021 18:30 | Soul's point about Kerim highlighting Asgard made me want to post something that has been on my mind since I stopped posting. Don't worry - I'm not back as a regular poster - yet. Nothing but good news and good results for the past year or so and yet the share price stays obstinately low. Various theories have been put forward – it’s under the radar; there is a big background seller; Turkey isn’t safe – but I believe it is simpler than that. This is only my opinion but it could explain the movement of the share price, or lack of it. The market has come to realize that Ariana is a superb geological enterprise which may well become quite lucrative, but that there is no guarantee that same wealth will ever trickle down to the shareholders. The more the company earns either directly or through JVs, the more the company is able to spend on the parts that are of more interest to them which would of course mean less to distribute to shareholders. The management team have yet to convince the wider market (i.e. potential new investors) that the company’s strategy is to maximize a return to shareholders within acceptable time frames. Indeed, it appears to be run to satisfy the passions and inclinations of the directors. However, despite all that, I am staying invested as I believe the share price will move up gradually but not excessively. | ![]() jaf1948
09/9/2021 18:27 | I was fortunate to buy in here a few years ago for around 1p so cannot complain at our share price performance over recent years, although surprising to that it has fallen back to a lower trading range despite the gold price holding up & all the good news out of Turkey, together with the special divi of .525.I doubled my holding recently ahead of the dividend & hope for a strengthening share price as our project continue to develop achieve , or over achieve. Great to see our Chairman & CEO with decent skin in the game-apart from options etc. | ![]() base7
09/9/2021 18:07 | Yes with all the news that is due it seems strange that Kerim highlighted Asgard in that Rns. Interesting too that the Palm SubCo probably lists this month in Aus. Coincidence 🤔 | ![]() soulsauce |
