Veteran investor Mark Mobius says keep 10% in gold.

At this stage, “10% should be put into physical gold,” said Mobius, who set up Mobius Capital Partners after more than three decades at Franklin Templeton Investments. “Currency devaluation globally is going to be quite significant next year given the incredible amount of money supply that has been printed.”

I see one problem with this line of thought unless he means "Devaluation by Inflation" Actually that may be exactly what he is saying.

Most world countries have binged on borrowed money over the last couple of years and all that wealth is slushing about in the system. Paying it back will be painful and they cant all devalue as the result would be a net zilch. One way out may be a decade of high inflation, as alternative is decades of high taxes. Oh and with the public having to cope with inflation, higher interest rates may lead to depression.

What to do in these problematic times?

Oh I know put 10% into gold. ;-)

I feel like we will get a RNS string it's been running near perfectly for a month or two at some point. They don't tend to RNS until things are running smoothly.

Was anyone else expecting an RNS about the completion of second ball mill? I have seen that it is quite a bit more than just a pice of kit but more an extension of the processing plant.

It's very simple really. They manipulate gold down for decades, remove it as a reserve asset, but all the while accumulate it in their own private vaults, then, with Basel 3 release the Kraken, and see their own private wealth increase by a multiple, and gold held in bank vaults instantly helps cover bank debt in the form of negative mortgage backed securities and low yield bonds.

Hi Paul, I'm not expecting to add an extra 0 to the end of the share price but would hope to be at least low double figures with the second mine into production

Interim dividend 0.175 March 23, final 0.175 September 2023? That's my wish.
And share price of 7p, 5% return.

No probs Thanksamillion.

3rd tranche is after next years agm so if I had to guess I would say 2nd tranche before the end of March 22 and 3rd, if passed, around September 22.

Thanksamillion I think you need to read the dividend declaration again as to when the 2nd payment of 0.175p will be made.

6mths after the first payment.

AAU may be Ex div today but its only half Ex div really, another 0.175p will be distributed before year end and the rest hopefully by mid 2022.

I believe the market hadn't really cottoned on to that until mid morning, but it will.

I agree. A lot have said they want to reinvest all or part of their payout to increase their holding. So it seems as if this is working out well and the dilution effect is being minimised.Great.

Respect Nov31, that's more in safe hands.

Now what we need are a couple of positive RNS's next week to kick off the next leg up.
