Thanks Zangdook, I stand corrected. So they were in breach of AIM rules when the RNS was issued.

They need to correct the announcement because if they don't announce the payment date (not the date of some random later Sunday) they're in breach of the AIM rules:

17. An AIM company must issue notification without delay of:

— any decision to make any payment in respect of its AIM securities specifying the net amount payable per security, the payment date and the record date...

Got a reply from ADVFN. Very efficient. Apparently the App. with the info I had previously on the Monitor page is now subscription only - £28 per month. I get the info on the Web site but only for a brief window. Annoying they changed it without notice. I've used this app. for years. Strange to suddenly change it.

I think perhaps Kerim likes to test the loyalty of his shareholders sometimes. I wouldn't be surprised if a seismic event (like a sale) happened after release of the next Salinbas drilling results, leading to another special dividend.

I sold a few million a while ago and then another 10 grands worth. I've recently bought them all back and a few extra ones....Not Biggles or Renniks level but over 1%

I've got exchange order in for 100k at 4.85 not filled! Most I can get is 25k at a time and not even that now!

Interesting it is easier to sell AAU than buy at the moment. Getting a price for 500,000 at 4.65 (although not selling), but when buying just over 120,000 was largest I could do in a transaction (at 4.80).

The company said paid BY 26th September, I can't see why they need to change that.
But if they pay earlier I won't complain.

If they've told HL the dividend payment date is 24/9, they really ought to tell the whole market. Unless HL just made a natural assumption.
