To put things into context chf. Hum and starvest have fallen over 50% in a year show how well AAU has compared. Don't get me wrong would have liked all to grow but we need to look at wider picture. AAU fallen 25% from max but fundamentals are best they have ever been. You can kind of forgive the board at not being too hung up on the share price having said that would like more communication of their achievements to a wider audience.

I really dont understand why all the great exitement over the divi. At the end of the day its .375p to the holders and .375p+tax/costs off of Arianas balance sheet.
Unless its the psychological implication of showing a management that is prepared to relinquish something real to shareholders rather than hold it for who knows what bonus to themselves at later date.
Still, back to the real world and at least the share price is up a tad.

There are posters on LSE saying they weren't expecting that - I.e. a dividend announcement. Can you believe it. If actual shareholders don't realise we have an imminent 7% dividend what about the wider market?

At last. Thank goodness. It seemed like this day would never come. Everyone can sigh in relief and look forward to a very interesting period of share performance. Let's hope the message is well communicated across the investing world, but this will undoubtedly bring some volatility over the next month or so as people take positions. Looking forward now to the new presentation today at the AGM.

The record date for this interim dividend will be 27 August 2021, with the payment to be made by 26 September 2021. The Company's shares will become ex-dividend on 26 August 2021.

Further announcements will be made in respect of the record and payment dates for the second and third tranches in due course.
