No buts, It's an active real MINING company. AAU has repeatedly released good drilling results. This invariably means more gold and mine life extension. This is their bread and butter. The alternative is running out of mine life. Cant have dramatic rns every week!

Ariana Resources – encouraging Kiziltepe drilling results, Buy

Ariana Resources (AAU) has announced further drilling results from the producing Kiziltepe part of its 23.5% owned joint venture, including that “multiple structures were intercepted at each tested point… what is immediately apparent from our latest understanding is that there is an area of not fully quantified resource potential”. Further promise then.

This company should be a strong contender for both the most promising and boring share of the year award. You have to hand it to the directors though ; creating so many balls to juggle with, thus enabling them to continue confusing their audience forever it seems.

Whole point we've been trying to get across to company is they have very loyal shareholders who know how well the company is progressing on all fronts BUT those shareholders have finite capital and new blood is required to take share price forward and a strategic marketing plan is required to this end. However the "value will show through " philosophy adopted will no doubt work but takes longer and some loyal shareholders get cheesed off at the speed of return an sell which puts short term pressure on share price as carosa 4m sells did over last few weeks. I try and look at the company when I'm heavily invested and well run takes priority over a strongly marketed company. Would be nice however to at least get the message out to a wider audience.

WE don't Charles but we are long term shareholders. Anyone new looking at this will find an up to date broker note very useful.

D1G3Y yes a month ago in the webinar they 'suggested' that PG would update.
With all that is going on at AAU a broker note will always be out of date within weeks/months but it is no excuse and the broker should update with value enhancing information.
The point is we haven't had one in an inexcusably long time and a broker note is a very valuable piece of information for many prospective shareholders.

Just like the Gantt charts, that they will get out of date relatively quickly is not an excuse for their omission as it looks very much that they are shy of promotion for whatever the reason.

Pretty sure they confirmed that PG is due to release a brokers note. Just got to have faith that it's written at an optimum time which I'm sure the company would advise. If PG had published in the last couple of months then the note would have been out of date rather quickly.

You are probably right bigglesbingham but we know it has to be before 30th Sept and we are that close to that date now that a few weeks here or there doesn't matter.

I am more concerned in the short time about what Charles was saying. I hope he doesn't mind me cutting and pasting:-

'The company appears to be shy of promoting itself via its house broker, giving clear PR statements and it fights shy of accountability in the form of timelines which they sadly stopped doing a few years ago'
