20/7/2021 07:31 | Well this is underwhelming. My thought was that it would be a one off special divi rather than a series of them. Disappointing. | pauliewonder
20/7/2021 07:29 | Yes dixi, it seems that way. | soulsauce
20/7/2021 07:28 | And why don't we still know exact dates after all this time 🤔 | soulsauce
20/7/2021 07:28 | did they get all the cash into their bank account at all? I did not bother to check TIA | kaos3
20/7/2021 07:26 | Soulsauce, they don't seem to want to attract new shareholders, so keep the existing ones dangling as usual. | dixi
20/7/2021 07:26 | Renniks - yes I can - based on math - special BIG divi coming in a month or so (expextations) should more than compensate the effect of a broader market drop. Share did start droping during the day - not in the morning - when there was no news out yet - in the finsyst | kaos3
20/7/2021 07:25 | That "Where else will you get a 20% csh lump" statement just turned in to "Do you think you can make 7.5% elsewhere over the next few months and then 3.5% over 6 months after that?"Just a stupendously stupid idea from AAU, I certainly hadn't seen it coming. The only possible explanation is they were forced to do it this way by regulations maybe around the capital reduction, but given we have no explanation as to why it takes a lot of benefit of doubt to assume this is anything other than a bad decision. | kirbs4
20/7/2021 07:25 | I don't mind it being paid in tranches but this is spread over too long and why does the final tranche need permission? 0.7p is disappointing. Totally understand the frustration. | soulsauce
20/7/2021 07:23 | Kaos- the drop was in line with everything else yesterday, as sea of red, you can't pin this on that. | renniks2016
20/7/2021 07:22 | The dream of enriching yourself on AIM is invariably just that, and quite often more of a nightmare. It is only in real universe, ie where you're lucky enough to be an important cog in, or a backer of the machine/company, that the real money is made, ultimately at your expense of course. Most of us are deluded, most of the time, to actually believe the nonsense perpetrated by PR machinery. I've only got a small holding here, thank goodness. | corrientes
20/7/2021 07:22 | Well I hung in here because of the divi, now I'm really questioning my decision. I was expecting a decent lump-sum payout by late summer, I'm getting nothing as expected. So that's scuppered that plan for sure. Waited and waited. If this was designed to incentivise shareholders to continue to hold, I think the need to give this a bit of a rethink. Which of course they won't. Just why? | dixi
20/7/2021 07:20 | I asked my self why the drop yesterday - here it is | kaos3
20/7/2021 07:15 | expectation management at its best. superb work by AAU PR firm and its management. will use this expectation management, high value potential, new projects starting etc on my girlfriends superb work AAU and thank you for all you keep delivering on a consistent basis one knows (by now) what can be expected reliable as a German machine | kaos3
20/7/2021 07:12 | Why haven't they announced the dates? What could be the reason for telling us we have to wait to know the dates? Still trying to drag it out. Very silly. | plasybryn
20/7/2021 07:12 | Well AAU certainly have the ability to frustrate. We've approved the JV, that took long enough. So why not give us what we expect as expected. A special dividend was announced, never three tranches until now. No explanation given that I can see, but I can guess. We're not school kids who need to be taught to manage our pocket money. | dixi
20/7/2021 07:11 | we got special regular divi lol | kaos3
20/7/2021 07:06 | Lower end of most people's predicted values, and also paid over three tranches!Another rns that is good news if you're a long term holder going nowhere, but one that has missed the opportunity to attract significant new attention. | kirbs4
20/7/2021 07:04 | Not what everyone was expecting, but look at the bigger picture, this will not now be a pump and dump, this is good long term, extraordinarily good. Today is a momentous occasion in Ariana's history, and we are exceptionally pleased to be able to announce the details of the Company's dividend distribution plan. This is a testament to the success of Ariana's exploration, development and production strategy which has brought us to a position that very few AIM-listed resources companies find themselves in; with a producing asset and able to provide a return to our loyal shareholders. In line with our growth strategy going forward, we also hope to distribute future dividends arising from ongoing profits generated by our existing operations and those arising out of future undertakings." | renniks2016
20/7/2021 07:02 | RNS Dividend news. I am not impressed. | jaf1948
19/7/2021 15:55 | actonovator That "honest error" by the financial hack on aau results raise my suspicions at the time, even more convinced now that small scale manipulation is occurring. | thanksamillion
19/7/2021 15:06 | Strange isn't it? Raging inflation, stocks down and you'd have thought gold and silver would be soaring along with producers. | charles clore
19/7/2021 14:10 | 4.825 to buy - how did we get there? | actonovator |
