18/6/2021 19:21 | Plas, my guess is that by the time of the next AGM we will all have forgotten/forgiven the BOD for the slow news flow. We will have been awarded a larger than expected divi and a continued dividend stream, lots of brilliant drill results including Cyprus and Kosovo, an early date for Salinbas to go into production, etc…… Time for another beer, have a good weekend all. | ![]() paul280i
18/6/2021 18:47 | Ariana with Attitude- what on earth happened to that idea? We've got to make use of shareholders rights to table our concerns at the forthcoming AGM. | ![]() plasybryn
18/6/2021 17:55 | And PIs are mostly the only ones invested here, I think the company seem to forget that. | ![]() soulsauce
18/6/2021 17:17 | I reiterated those exact thoughts direct to the company this week I hope they listen. | ![]() bigglesbingham
18/6/2021 16:57 | Bang on the money with that post dixi. | ![]() soulsauce
18/6/2021 16:47 | Trouble is anything could be happening here, good, bad, indifferent. Six month updates now instead of quarterly creates a long stretch of silence for current opps. Nobody has a clue what Ozaltin are acctually doing or not. I have to be honest and say I've hung in for the dividend as it's a chunky return. I need my investments to work for me, this hasn't done so for a good while now. So I'd like to think the dividend will be along soon at least. | ![]() dixi
18/6/2021 16:42 | That's brilliant, cheered up a dreary day :-) | ![]() dixi
18/6/2021 16:25 | Ha ha thanks for that hope you enjoy the caravan. | ![]() bigglesbingham
18/6/2021 16:16 | I have a theory on the sale of 300k @ 4.825 earlier today. It goes that a holder, lets call him Mr X had a plan. His broker Hargreaves Lansdown stopped doing Bed and ISA transfers and advised Mr X to just sell some AAU shares, wait until the settlement date, transfer the cash into his ISA account and re-buy the AAU shares. Well that didn't suite Mr X because of the large spread and the chance (not much) that the price would rise during the time lag. So Mr X decided to transfer some cash that he had put aside to pay for a new caravan into his and Mrs X's ISA accounts and buy 250k @ 4.55 and 120k @ 4.57 on 9th April. His intention was to await the dividend notification and then sell enough shares in his Share account to pay for the caravan. Unfortunately Coachman Caravans were quicker at manufacturing the caravan than Ariana were at sorting the dividend and Coachman (unreasonably in Mr X's opinion) expect to be paid for the caravan and probably would not wait for Ariana to announce a dividend so he had to raise the cash with an early sale. I know this sound highly unlikely but it's just my take on the sale. | ![]() paul280i
18/6/2021 16:01 | I genuinely haven't a clue but the sudden spate of selling today smacks of a large sell going through and I expect divi in three weeks. Whoever sold it's created an opportunity I've taken advantage of | ![]() bigglesbingham
18/6/2021 15:56 | I hope not bigglesbingham, we have had our fill of that malarkey and we know what it does for sentiment which is already on the floor. | ![]() soulsauce
18/6/2021 15:41 | MDV has a number of unused options wonder if he's selling to release cash to buy them at 1.55. Someone is selling at a very weird time. Just a thought. He knows dividend just around corner and impact on price is likely to be negligible so logical for him to do so as we don't live in a philanthropic society? Just a thought . | ![]() bigglesbingham
18/6/2021 14:46 | Oh dear the flat line broke down. Can't say that I am surprised as most miners have been weak this week. Add to that the relative silence on the bigger projects and waning sentiment here is a perfect recipe for a pullback. Strange the flat line broke after that MdV retweet. Maybe some thought he was taking the wee wee. | ![]() soulsauce
18/6/2021 14:19 | Yep hopefully the patience pays off! | ![]() lottsgold
18/6/2021 14:02 | Other opportunities, let's wait and see if they're better :-D | ![]() shortarm
18/6/2021 13:40 | Bound to be a few that see better opportunities with the wait we have had. I'm holding as there is so much news due but it's not easy when there are no clues out there. There's nothing even mentioned on Ozaltin' website about Salinbas...there must be an announcement near surely they all want to get on with it too! | ![]() lottsgold
18/6/2021 12:57 | It seems that MdV is positive and that in itself is good news. Hopefully not long to wait now. | ![]() charles clore
18/6/2021 12:35 | Just as someone gets bored and releases 300k lol :-) | ![]() shortarm
18/6/2021 12:33 | Sage advice in that there tweet! The enormous wait around 2P was boring too but here we are..... Double figures soon enough I reckon! | ![]() shortarm
18/6/2021 12:04 | Well one can't argue on the boredom and frustration. Bring on some blue sky, we have been waiting long enough. | ![]() soulsauce
18/6/2021 11:55 | michael de villiers Retweeted paul johnson @pauljohnson9691 So when people say you are lucky as you make a big gain on the resource juniors - they have no idea how tough the challenge is to hold positions through the more difficult periods. Boredom, frustration & worry have to be beaten to hold thru into the upswing. Blue sky beckons | ![]() xow98 |
