i3 Energy capital reduction announcement today

Hopefully similar timings for AAU.

The final confirmation hearing in the High Court of Justice of England and Wales was held yesterday and the court approved the cancellation of i3 Energy's share premium account (the "Capital Reduction"). The court order together with the court approved statement of capital has been delivered to the Registrar of Companies and the Capital Reduction will finally become effective upon the registration of the court order by the Registrar of Companies, which is expected to occur in the next few days. The Ex-dividend date, Record Date and Payment Date will be announced immediately following confirmation of the registration. With the predicted timing of the above registration by the Registrar of Companies, i3 expects the Ex-dividend date to be during the week commencing 12 July 2021.

Agree Plasybryn. Early July was stated in the first announcement as though it was a definite intention or why not just have said July in that announcement.
I am assuming some other box needs ticking that had been overlooked until the 11th hour.

I don't think it is very professional to say early July and then say July without explanation. Nothing as far as we know has slipped. So please keep to your word Ariana and announce early July or provide a reasonable reason for the slippage. They also said Cyprus drill results by end of June. Time running out to fulfill that promise.

not too happy about the july date for dividend announcement, relaxed from previous 'early july', as soul has already pointed out. normally a minor thing but this has dragged on so long any little thing now seems too much.

it could mean no payout until august, and who knows that could be 30th august, another 2 months, ugh! hopefully not so.

And there it is.

The Company confirms that the second court hearing has completed as expected, and that the court has confirmed the Company's capital reduction. The Company will shortly be completing the required submission to Companies House documenting the reduction in its share capital accordingly and this will complete the capital reduction process.

A further update on the Company's dividend policy will be provided during July.
