You've hit the nail on the head. Nothing major has gone wrong, KS has not let us down (yet) and the company is in the best shape that it has been for years.

So that's why I am so frustrated about what is (not) happening - the current perception is due to a series of own goals, most if not all of which could have been avoid primarily with better PR.

I have a lot of sympathy with your frustration JAF. However, whilst the ‘perception217; is increasingly poor, there has yet to be complete reneging on anything of substance. Time slips yes. On balance I want to give KS the benefit of any doubt simply because the fundamentals of the business look so good currently with promises of better things to follow.

Jaf I know where your coming from. The longer things drag on the more frustrating it becomes. I'm sure the BOD are aware yellow jersey PR are awful but I can't understand why they don't change the situation and at least make a start with good communication with its share holders

I know I bang on about 'perception' but when people see a company whose CEO cannot be bothered to work on his job 100% of the time but prefers to be CEO of another company at the same time, and when it was seen to be more important to him to collect his options rather than to keep shareholders up to date on why their special dividend is so delayed, it is understandable that Ariana is not attracting more new investors.

It is getting beyond disappointing.

P.S. It is of course possible that I am doing KS a disservice and in fact he may actually be slaving day and night in the interests of Ariana and its shareholders. However, if that is indeed the case, there are ways to get that message over to the public and the fact that he hasn't tends to support my more negative feelings.

With the price of the yellow metal showing an improvement, having risen by the best part of $150 per oz since the March double bottom to reach $1831 at Friday’s close, the renewed enthusiasm has been reflected generally in gold stocks. And that includes AIM-listed Ariana Resources (AAU) which is now riding high at 5.2p. But my target is 7.5p.
