My opinion, but based on things already happening. China are developing their own crypto, as are Russia. Rishi Sunak recently tweeted about a digital pound. Now china recently cracking down on crypto. Also Biden and his green agenda will likely clamp down on the crypto mining in the U.S. In time it will play out, Digital currencies will be the future, but it won't be any that isn't issued by governments/central banks. But like I said, just my opinion, for what its worth.

Really? They just reiterated something they said in 2017, there was nothing new there.

Bonehammer - do you have a link to authenticate this information or is it just your opinion?

All crypto other than central bank issued crypto (which will be the future) will be outlawed. Not a chance they are going to give up control of their currencies. It's a fad.

Soul - I don't intend to be frightened out of the opportunity of a lifetime by the manipulative efforts of the elite. Like AAU I am holding my cryptos tightly and adding.

It's not right Charles and one of the plus points people were pointing out is that it couldn't be manipulated.
Now that's gone what have you got?
And what will they do next to cut the legs from under it.
Don't be the last one on the deck of the titanic playing the violin.

Soul - one knew, as soon as they introduced Bitcoin futures, that it would be manipulated in a similar way to gold and silver. But that doesn't make it right.

The thing that's difficult to understand is that NEARLY ALL cryptos have taken a huge hit today and that, to me, is true manipulation. While most people accept bitcoin is only useful as a long term store of value having no utility, there are others like Ethereum and Theta to name but 2, that have, or will have, incredibly important uses. Yet these and others have dropped by 25-35% today. It is an incredible buying opportunity. A bit like AAU really. In the words of the prophet, watch and learn!

I think JP Morgan might disagree with you Charles.

Those who said it was impossible to manipulate bitcoin. It's getting manipulated with mere words.

Soul - I doubt if BTC hodlers will be selling. More like adding at these manipulated prices. Like AAU the only way is up from here :-)

Looking at the reaction from Chesterfields announcement today of a new asset Im looking forward even more to seeing what Kerim has up his sleeve, I can nearly guarantee they aren't resting on their laurels. Ive updated the incoming news on the header, once we have the new JORC and Ball mill figures from Kizil, the Cyprus results and hopefully Tavsan news in quick order I will re work it. So much pent up news, I can't post on here to often due to frustration and trying to be patient but the catalysts are in plain sight. Oh and Salinbas ....

US$8 million being committed by Özaltin to a Feasibility Study, Environmental Impact Assessment and additional permitting at the Salinbas Project.

Read the thread thanksamillion. ‘Whining’; is the word first chosen by Shortarm and yes, I am ‘whining’; if you don’t think 18 months is an unreasonably long time to sort out a dividend.

Posted this on PALM thread by mistake...

“ Aau are solid, but sloath paced. I’ll be investing the dividend into a higher risk, faster paced operation, (probably KAV) but keeping the rest of my holding because AAU are rock solid (fundamentally if not PR geniuses).

However, if you keep winning you get to the top eventually, and that’s AAU. I now see them as an investment for my daughters, and I’m only 52. They’re a great company, but just too slow and safe to give me what I need. I’m only here once.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m staying long and strong with my holding, but time’s rolling on and I need to roll a little faster. Having said all of that, this is going to double or more in the next year IMO. I’m just looking (probably unrealistically) for more speed and I’m comfortable with risk that comes with it. “

I can whine with the best of em lol, but I'm giving fair leeway for unprecedented global pandemics the likes of which we've never seen! (Etc) And hopefully never will again!

Shortarm: I’m not talking about the share price and I have previously praised the company for their delivery of an evolving, successful company and the exciting future ahead of us. I’m truly sorry for you if you think an 18 month wait for a dividend is acceptable. You ought not to accept such poor standards and start ‘whining’; a bit more.

You obviously haven't read the BB over previous weeks Shortarm, plus shareholders here have been on the hook a lot longer than those at PUR and I mean a lot.

It’s a stat that we need to be reminded of. Sorry thanksamillion if it disturbs your warm, fuzzy view of the company. It has great prospects going forward but such incompetence needs to be answered by the Chairman and lessons learnt.
