Is it Novice traders thread? If we could just get some updated links and figures up it would help the traders see the longer term opportunity here? So much going on here I think it gets lost to the people who follow TW etc?

Totally agree, I think we've all been hooked on the JV news which is now pretty much a done deal. The divi coming up will create the chance to get some new investors in here and Cyprus could be the hook. With the copper price looking strong and the upside of exploration (as you say we've seen what the team can do on a tight budget) the value could be realised rather quickly.I'm not on the level of many of you so I may be on the wrong track but I wonder if it's worth putting a good header together on the BB? I honestly have no clue on this side but I have graphic designers working for me if I can be of any help to the admin?

Lottsgold the main reason for me being so bullish about the JV is that it gives the company the wherewithal and monetary power to increase value in a much more timely manner through new projects.
Look what the company has built on a shoestring and relying on dodgy vendors of cash. Just think what they can achieve now they don't have to go cap in hand to the markets.

I agree the Venus buy in is a good deal for Ariana, but also for Venus. It's not just the cash we take into Venus but the expertise of Kerim, Zac and the rest of the team, you can't put a value on that. CHF have hired 3 experts to find their copper, we are lucky in holding shares in a company who have our own experts in house.

Glad we're thinking along the same lines Soul. Just trying to re affirm my confidence in AAUs continued growth. I'm very overweight here so need to ease the mind sometimes!

Hi Lottsgold just to add to your musings.
Given the company's statement on the planned dividend, which is much higher than expected, the company know what they need and I feel we will hear about new projects pretty much as soon as the cash is in the bank.
News on Cyprus and new projects will be out before the dividend is paid and will drive value.
The share price may drop back when the divvy is paid but due to new projects before then I feel we will be some way north of where we are by that time.

Sunday morning musings, thought I'd look at Venus again. Certainly looks like an amazing deal. 3 million for 50% of the business.Just looking at the 3 main identifies resources the copper in the ground is worth up to 2 billion dollars. Only one old Jorc but this gives a great opportunity for us to add value quickly.This doesn't take into account other metals of which gold and Zinc look commercial.Could this drive more value in the coming months than I've given it credit for? I can't find much information on drilling there, I feel like exploration has been mentioned though?

That's how the market works. The MM's generally give it 20 days to shake the traders out and then move the share price up. IMO

Fluctuating so has never really bothered me it's the news flow and fundamentals i have always looked at. There will be sellers and buyers all along the way. I am looking forward to next drilling program at salinbas and the scope thereof. That will be the game changer in my opinion not a divi .

No panic here. The unstable environment we live in has played a big part in the increase over the last year or so, it is also the reason gold is yo yo'ing about and goldies following suit. Belief in the long term is all you need, something we could all learn a lot on from Biggles!

I do think aau dropping today is just a few share holders switching from here to eua. Eua rise today probably enough to put further switching off so I expect aau tovrecover 6p next week.

I dont follow cey. Looked a couple of times and didn't like it. I'll have another look.

Soul, you could be right. A bad day for me, I've a chunk in CEY so that started the day badly then this correction/trees shake in AAU has added to those woes. Still, the weekend coming, up although when retired they don't have the same excitement as when I was working!

A bit of an odd time for the share price to be dropping IMO, when gold has recovered, at least for now... Hopefully will only be temporary.

I agree cool hand. I'm inclined to wait a little though. I think eua is popping now but have a little time before hitting here. Also agree with cc. I think we might be able to get in here lower.

This was sub 2p a few months ago. I had a small top up here at about 2.5 and 5p. We have already gained a lot here and given the companies progress, the share price is in the right sort of zone.
