Horneblower blockchain is the system crypto currency works on so BTC is decentralised but the tech can be used for many things from book keeping to transaction. It's a secure ledger it does not matter if centralized or de centralized but because BTC is decentralized means government have less control over it

Its a massive amount of power to be used on something that hardly anyone uses for real transactions.

This is worrying? Could governments act to make mining more difficult by maybe applying a levy to power consumption?Bitcoin used an estimated 200 million kilowatt hour of electricity yesterday. On a yearly basis that would amount to 73 terawatt hour. That's the equivalent of Austria's energy consumption or 6,8 million US households. Bitcoin's energy consumption now represents 0.3% of the whole world's electricity use.

Stoneme - "Show me a better opportunity." - I cannot find any under present market uncertainty and economic slowdown. In addition ARB makes money and profit (at less than $5000 BTC- price) with a 80% margin ! It is now introducing 7000 new machines. For the halving of BTC, it is every 4 years and is due next April. Expect BTC price to jump at least 300% more - affecting positively the value of ARB. Then add the effect of new machines to mine more with BTC unit price increase at more than 300%. ARB is without any doubt in a win/win position. The other factor to add is when the herd start understanding ARB business model and start massively buying. This reminds me of VRS hype taking the share price from 20p to 180p within a year. The only difference, ARB makes already plenty of money and profit ... So the conclusion to draw is very simple.

The seller makes no sense at this price and time. . All BTC indicators are positive, halving is probably within 6-9 months, ARB are growing, gaining efficiencies and are yet to provide guidance on the performance of their new kit.Others have suggested it before - We May see maiden dividends soon too.What's not to like? Potential 5-10 bagger + Divi. Show me a better opportunity.

The next update for August/September and the progress in new machines will change completely the picture. This stock is not yet on the radars of many - Thanks God. A chance to position oneself before the herd arrives soon.
Regarding any possible seller, he/she might re-buy it again at twice the present price in the next few weeks.

The World money system is failing IMHO. Governments are going to continue to print money as interest rates fall below zero. They have no way now of putting things on a firm footing. So the alternatives ie GOLD and CRYPTOS are going to go up. ARB just might be in the right place at the right time. I already have a reasonable holding but I am looking to increase as soon as the macro picture starts to get really bad. GLA
