22/8/2019 03:39 | :(Time to have a look at this one for a quick red flag(posters) scan.Early indications are not looking good | aidenabettin
21/8/2019 22:59 | Horneblower what does your magic charts say? Or is it far to early to predict!? | ilostthelot
21/8/2019 22:53 | Quite right topsy. I don't agree with you but I disagree even more with Roddyb. | horneblower
21/8/2019 19:49 | I am not getting personal, I am just responding, could not care less what the resident dinosaur thinks or does, he obviously thinks he is an expert when it comes to blockchain. | topazfrenzy
21/8/2019 18:30 | Hey Topey -you shouldnt take everything so personal and get so personal man.The BBs all about opinion - good, bad, rubbish, ramp, de-ramp its all part of the game. For the record i'm very heavy here and confident of a big payback but happy to listen to those that disagreeR | ragnarr
21/8/2019 17:18 | Roddyb, General economics do not apply to blockchain really, get with it, you sound a bit of a dinosaur when it comes to crypto and a bit of a bore really, with your 'knowledge' ... zzzzzzz Bitcoin is the future world reserve currency It's going to 1 Million Dollars + | topazfrenzy
21/8/2019 16:55 | Nice little rise at close. That 7p by Friday looks a bum steer. Still let's wait and see. The return to 8.50 just now despite a languishing BTC circa 10k USD a departure from tracking. | 1new guy
21/8/2019 16:28 | But the experiment is testing the mechanics of the un/matched trades? It could fail - but then again it would be interested to see what happens because we all can't know the answer, we have to test first. The share is unloved, I accept you love it and Topaz really loves it, but 2m are sold today and about 1.75m are bought. A "loved share" has tens of millions volume and some decent upwards trend on it - early days for ARB I suggest. | roddyb
21/8/2019 16:24 | rodd - i love this share - its the best there is - it is so transparent - it goes up and and down with btc - no manipulation except the spread - good old bod put out a straight forward statement every month so you can assess whether u want to stay or leave - what more can u ask for | liveit2
21/8/2019 16:13 | Blissfully ignorant - but I do know about general economics, if that helps? I am going to see whether we get to 7p - this is an unloved share, little coverage and little volume. Because the volume is so low - I wonder what would happen if you left a limit order for £5k at say, 6.5p for the next 7 days - do you think that it would get fulfilled in that weird way that you get the erratic trades once or twice a day? share price starts at 7.5p then ends at 7.95p yet somehow someone was forced to sell in a thin market and a flash purchase waited at 6.5p - is it possible? | roddyb
21/8/2019 14:57 | Roddyb, Not sure you know much about the crypto space ... anyway ... I hope you all topped up under 8.5p | topazfrenzy
21/8/2019 14:32 | It's good ADVFN seems to have lost a year's worth of posts - amusing reading the early posts | stoneme
21/8/2019 14:24 | I can never understand the snide unpleasantness from certain types of such board contributors as on here. Most ARB investors have enough awareness to not "day trade" but hold stocks they have researched. Day trading is, in the main, a mug's game for shares such as these. As for some of these comments, they refer constantly to AIM. This is an LSE main market listed Company, wise guys. | 1new guy
21/8/2019 14:23 | worth a read | liveit2
21/8/2019 14:04 | Back to 7 p by Friday! | costax1654x
21/8/2019 14:03 | If you were taken out today for 25p you would have made a killing topaz? Then surely with your dynamism you would set up a bit coin miner or buy share in one coming to the market and allow them to rent server space in Québec and get them to buy the same macines? It strikes me that the barriers to entry are not that great, hence, you must always assume that there is a Chinese powerhouse doing what ARB is (unannounced) and probably on a greater scale. | roddyb
21/8/2019 13:42 | Worst case scenario for investors here imo is that it's taken out for 25p a share, which would be a steal for someone. | topazfrenzy
21/8/2019 13:11 | Based on the updates from ARB we’ve estimated earnings for this year and the end of year run rate: hxxp://blog.journal. Looks very cheap at the moment | gilgil13
21/8/2019 13:09 | They'll all be buying back at 20% premium | topazfrenzy
21/8/2019 13:06 | Lol people mugged of their shares ... | topazfrenzy
21/8/2019 12:55 | Haha you will be out if you make a penny !! All I know is that when I met mike Edwards he said he had no intention of Mining BTC and now he is ..I'm happy to take my turn Yes we could be 16p again but who can predict the price of bitcoin ? Certainly not me | nico115
21/8/2019 12:48 | In the last update they didn't mention reserve of coins so assume they cashed them in. In June the update indicated they held quite a few but assumed that was from the mining during the period BTC was below $6k, so held pending a recovery in price ~ a good reason to have low cost operations & strong balance sheet to ride out the dips. Also they needed the cash for the new kit. | scotty666 |
