10/1/2021 09:32 | Plat is correct. SIPP is same as any pension. 25% tax free when 55 then standard PAYE as you withdraw as though it were your salary. That's why tucking away anything you earn over 40% threshold before you retire is the best tax break. | hootza616
10/1/2021 09:30 | My sons can deal with the tax when im gone.Ive changed my monthly buying pattern for $BTC,$ETH and $BNB.im goin 100% $BNB.Keep looking for the next ARB.Good luck | aidenabettin
10/1/2021 09:28 | Who did you get to sign off the final salary withdrawal? I can't find a pension advisor that will let me do it!A recommendation would be much appreciated! | hootza616
10/1/2021 09:25 | I believe both the btc and zcash machines are fixed to certain algorithms and have limited flexibility. | mciw
10/1/2021 09:25 | Hi Steve, according to the Blockchain.com charts the number of transactions per block has ranged between 1.8k and 2.4k in the last 90 days.https://www.blo | hootza616
10/1/2021 09:21 | I'd love that to be true, anyone else know for sure? | hotdaddy1972
10/1/2021 09:19 | Wow that's a huge result. | hotdaddy1972
10/1/2021 09:17 | ...and the world get hotter and hotter. | horneblower
10/1/2021 09:15 | I transferred an untouched final salary pension to a SIPP without taking the initial 25% tax free lump sum entitlement. I opted for UFPLS and get 25% tax free on every withdrawal for life. It meant i could leave a larger pot invested.I can see a time (not that far away)when tax will be deducted automatically without the need to fill in returns for PAYE(self employed)or CGT on investments. All details will be entered on secure blockchains and as we move to a cashless society it will be easier to impliment | aidenabettin
10/1/2021 09:01 | although it's been a very minor sideshow for the most part, if ZEC stabilizes at current levels, it MUST be taken into account when assigning a value to Argo. | yankeekraut
10/1/2021 09:00 | Lifetime limit only applies to cotributions I thought... growth is cgt free.25% tax free cash is calculated on the upper life time limit, then your drawdown income is subject normal income and nino taxation | plat hunter
10/1/2021 08:39 | 55% tax on your SIPP over the lifetime limit. | hotdaddy1972
10/1/2021 08:38 | Not sure of the flexibility you mentioned, is far as I know the rigs are dialled in the bitcoin and optimised as such - it's good point you raise however. Maybe a point to raise with Peter which is doing another Q&A in Twitter. | hotdaddy1972
10/1/2021 08:17 | Some interesting discussion on mining rewards for ARB - thanks. But there a couple of points I've seen no mention of. As well as the miner block rewards, currently 6.5 coins every 10 minutes or so, there is also the transaction fees. Last time I looked these were typically 0.0002 BTC per, but I have no idea of how many transaction can fir into each block.. Google search suggests just 500, but that was the average in 2017. With more interest and activity there must surely be more than this now. A limit of 50,000 seems to ring a bell with me, but I cant find a reference to this. If it were 50k then the miners would also receive 10 BTC in fees for each block mined. Also, the mining rigs we have will be flexible, and should be able to mine whatever crypto is giving the highest net rewards. As more miners pile into BTC, then other coins/tokens could become more attractive. | steve73

10/1/2021 07:42 | The Morgan Stanley story was interesting about the way that the investment banks could trade BTC in a legit way.....entered MSTR holdings in a hundreds of millions way (DYOR) the article was posted above I am sure? Reckons it opens the door to other companies with lots of cash (shell companies for instance) to raise money to invest into BTC,,,anyway, leave that thought with you...... as SNF says the OTC piece will help drive many US PIs into ARBKF IMO, helping to drive the uK price.....that thread someone posted about stocktwits alone has gone from 1,000 followers to nearly 6,000 in a few days...... DYOR as ever | qs99
10/1/2021 07:16 | SNF @ $3 we are clear runway for Nasdaq listing. | uapatel
10/1/2021 04:36 | Def overbought, our rise here is comical if you look at the daily chart! However, it can stay that way longer yet. Insomnia kicked in tonight so I've been reading around the US forums and they're pretty excited re the OTC tier 2 listing. Understatement! I hadn't realised how few options there were for purchasing pink slips, most of the big execution only brokers won't deal in tier1 otc, so for the majority of US buyers they're still waiting in the wings. Consequently, I'm really struggling to see how they won't drive this above 3 dollars as soon as approval is granted. | suffersnofools
09/1/2021 22:58 | Certainly, BTC looks to be consolidating above $40,000 now. When the full markets are all open come Monday where will ARB look to be? And when business gets back in its stride next week will there be further institutional buying of BTC? | crypto nugget
09/1/2021 22:57 | horneblower - I think from these levels (especially those who bought in at 4p - sadly I didn't), £6 would be definitely the icing on the cake. But given what is happening, and if we are at the early stages of a critical crypto bull market, I see no reason why that price cannot be achieved. BTC $100,000 I think will happen much sooner than people think. | crypto nugget
09/1/2021 22:48 | The rate of ascent of both ARB and BTC over the past week has left many observers feeling a bit queasy. We are way overbought but clearly there is still much to come. My gut feeling from the BTC chart is that we will go sideways for a few days cycling between $39k and $42k. Probably ARB will also go sideways. Imo $50kplus is coming soon, but a few days rest will allow the stomach to catch up with the heart. My best guess for ARB's top target is £6. This is four times the percentage gap of the bowl that ARB swam in before it broke out at 10p. Arbitrary, I know, but with some basis in chart lore. GLA | horneblower
09/1/2021 22:43 | thefartingcommie - that's it then. It's all over. If Musk, the world's richest man, has pronounced tonight that he wants paying in Bitcoin, games up. BTC on it's way to $1m in a short space of time. The rest of us peasants will take the 100ths thanks very much! This is actually dynamite news, and will probably help to send BTC through to $50,000 within a week or so, when US markets open on Monday. | crypto nugget
09/1/2021 22:39 | horneblower - sadly so. If he were a blue poster he'd probably ban them, but as a black one he can.t The best we can do is filter them, unless someone with a blue moniker starts a new thread and transfers all of this over. | crypto nugget |
