08/1/2021 13:26 | You have made some great calls here I just can't see anywhere near 10qd here as we don't HODL enough coins here When you say 10 pounds is it bad a certain BTC price ? And how quickly will we be 300p ? | ![]() nico115
08/1/2021 13:20 | Meanwhile won't it be nice if the US follows the UK ? Although according to many in the US, the world looks to it as a 'beacon of light for freedom'. First time I went there I was seriously shocked by the vast quantities of fat wobbling around the arrivals area. Beacon of light and a Berg of fat. So not only Trump that's deluded. | ![]() yump

08/1/2021 13:15 | Hi Hootza - Most of my calls were close enough to trade. And charting is 100% valuable. No Crystal ball but an edge on likely probabilities. Plus I've spent 20 years developing forex algos for a living that make huge cumulative profits using TA. So yes, 'still believe those charts' :) If you want to trade bad calls. How about you selling ARB in the 30's to buy back in the 20's? Don't get bitter and compound your mistakes from remaining out of Argo that has so much further to run. | suffersnofools
08/1/2021 13:12 | US OTC markets will be open from 1.30 GMT from Monday. More good news I feel. | alm6

08/1/2021 13:02 | gsp, Even if it "grinds" it will get to $100k sooner than that. SNF, that looks convincing. $53k is pretty much the same place it (relatively) got to last time. | ![]() horneblower
08/1/2021 13:02 | Gs, If you mean less frequent 10-15% pullbacks, and just a few large pullbacks 30-40% I agree | ![]() sif12
08/1/2021 13:01 | Hi Suffers, just a friendly reminder that all your pull back predictions from BTC 15k upwards didn't materialise. Still believe those charts? | ![]() hootza616
08/1/2021 12:53 | sif12 the ‘bitcoin whales’ thought they did control the price. Now I think institutional buying has stopped the wild gyrations of the past caused by their manipulation. Now if they dump a load of btc instead of other smaller retail panicking and selling they are just bought up. I will not pretend to do any technical analysis, but I’ve got a feeling this will just grind up to 100k - the first really significant line in the sand- before a significant sell off. I suspect 100k will come in the next 6weeks or so too. | ![]() gspanner
08/1/2021 12:43 | I redid my BTC chart last night.I'm seeing 53k then pullback to just below 40k. If goes higher then I see a much deeper 35-40pc correction | suffersnofools
08/1/2021 12:38 | horneblower, agree with your comments. fair chance we sweep past 50k, but if that were to occur, I think theres more chance of an even greater pull back further up. there is a wild scenario ive been thinking about where the big guys like grayscale lock up most of the known amount of btc over the next 2,3 5 years.. and as such control the price of it. but if that were to occur i think major govs would intervene at that point. more likely, i think the big guys will sell big, just as they have bought big. so even more extreme movements to come up and down. | ![]() sif12
08/1/2021 12:36 | Alm6 I think to some extent the luck depends on how good you are at actually assessing a business. Its easy imagine great things when a business is just an idea and/or heavily loss making - market is littered with those. Then there’s the tiddlers that simply don’t have a big market to go at. At least can be narrowed down to proven business models plus big market to go at. Then as you say big luck with this one ! | ![]() yump

08/1/2021 12:30 | Agree with your post alm6. Important to stick to personal targets, selling at 100 this morning would have been a major error. Given the new machines coming along and a possible Nasdaq listing sometime in the next few months I am persuaded that there is much more to go for here. Of course I aim to sell chunks as we hopefully keep going up, aiming to hold some for a long time. All guesswork and could turn out horribly but extremely entertaining. | ![]() fozzie

08/1/2021 12:12 | Yep, sucks, but the discipline of setting targets and sticking to them will in the long run protect you from downside risk. Those of us who didn't sell were essentially lucky. Stocks like this are very rare and there is a perfect storm of factors boosting Argo atm. US politics, COVID 19, tech development, fin tech empowering retail investors, upcoming dual listing and of course BTC bull run. Argo was an unknown with strong fundamentals compared to US peers, perfectly positioned to take advantage . | alm6
08/1/2021 12:12 | O/t Taking buy advice from a bb, or more precisely from a couple of posters like TEB would have been very dangerous for anyone, let alone someone new to investing. Don’t tempt me to revisit past recommended shares - I have a long memory. | ![]() yump
