That's what I've been pondering.

If you look at the previous two times the equivalent has happened with BTC it becomes more and more likely that there will be a 30% to 35% pullback at some point and $50k is a likely trigger point.

However, just because it happened like that before does not necessarily mean it will happen this time.

The maturity of the crypto market is quite different to previous times and the sheer wall of money desperate to have a piece of the action from all corners of the world from China, Russia, South America, US and Europe, makes it very likely (imo) it will reach $200,000...but along which route?

It's entirely possible that it won't even flinch at $50k and continue to zoom up at ever increasing speed. If so, a lot of people selling at 50 will never get back in. ("For you, Tommy, the war is over").

So, I will be watching like a hawk and, as usual, playing it by ear.

Good luck eveyone.

Sometimes certain stocks are just in the right place at the right time. As with Covid and the new world we are entering of mass vaccination and mass surveillance with restrictions on movement and speech you have to adapt and evolve. If you try to fight the system you will lose..A highlight of my lifetime would have been to see Trump impeached

TrentEndBoy - is such an interesting proposition re increasing price = more supply. For everything else - yes. All of a sudden, gold price doubles, and unprofitable mines can open as profitable. Here, no matter how much the price goes up, supply is fixed - yes, older equipment comes on stream, but they simply share the same fixed supply with more efficient miners(and who in their right mind would be selling their BTC into such a strong rally - which is only source of new supply?).

Interesting on BINANCE

I think exchanges are also struggling with supply

Only way to increase supply is for the price to rise and rise

ARB in a very strong position - shortage of mining chips is crucial as it stops other mining coming on stream any time soon
