UK LSE has finally gapped up with the OTCPK. Now the share price in the US is $1.58, that's about £1.17. Both are similar now.

Of course, nobody who tried to trade it today and made the wrong guess, is going to say so. It had a go at getting towards $2 and dropped back. But in the UK its at an odd price in between whole pounds and not even at £1.50. Did the UK push it up and then the US hit some sell buttons as it approached $2 ?

Who knows. Perhaps someone has been tracking all the trades both sides of the Atlantic and can offer an opinion.

As I write BTC is just a smidgeon below $42,000 US.

It's a bit nerve-wracking, but in the few days since PW sold his £400 k's worth of shares seemingly a little too soon at 29p back on 29th Dec, I've been able to increase my share-holding here by 6.7% by making quick dives out and in, selling high and buying low. I did experience one serious slip, but happily, against a background of an upward-marching BTC, my plan has come back on track.

Fast-moving escalators like ARB don't come along as frequently as London buses, so to have been aboard two in my investing life makes me feel fortunate, perhaps lucky rather than clever.
(PRM - now there's a surprise - brought me the house in a leafy shire that we are now lucky enough to live in.)
What will ARB do for us? Who knows? Cover other people's mortgages? A far larger ketch than any sane family can manage? Or nothing at all if I lose my footing, or my timing?

I see that while I've been writing BTC has shied away from $42k, has sunk to a smidgeon under $40k, and has scrabbled back to sit a smidgeon under $41K. If the BTC escalator holds - and as I read the tea-leaves, I think it will, albeit at times throwing up rogue waves - we'll probably get our ketch.

MMs absolutely milking those shares from people too scared to stay in over the weekend! Oldest trick in the book. Same people will be scrambling to buy them back 20% higher Monday morning. Easy money.
