I don't call today opening of a disaster, five days of moving upwards is dam excellent, enjoy the ride and be positive, because the first quarter of this year it's going to move onwards and than settled like every other commodity or currency out there.

Think we are also just seeing the start of BTC rise as we are only at the end of the 1st trading week of Jan! Takes time for instis to deploy capital IMO, so think this shift will continue for some time.....IMO therefore pushing BTC much higher....when some of these big names are talking multiples higher, even if they are half out, that leaves big upside IMO!

So ARB should continue to benefit from this and believe it will be well bought on the dips, as BTC will be, and nothing goes up in a straight line so there will be dips.

Dont forget to add that the retrace last night was feom another ATH. It dropped $4k but was heavily bought into with 24hr volume(USDT) hitting 5.3M.Its only going to grow and grow as we increase mining capacity.Demand is outstripping supply.#nobrainer

I dont suffer from the naivety of youth and can sniff out gang members from miles away.Doesnt look like they are going to cause any trouble at BRSD(i wonder why) .We may see retraces from time to time but holding a stock like ARB long term is the way to go.Get ready for a fight

I agree, the number of stocks that really make it big and hold the gains for the long term are very few. When they do the rewards can be life changing from a small investment.

Far more will briefly multi-bag then hit issues and fail. When to hold or fold is the 6 million dollar question. I certainly still haven't sussed it! I have to admit I do chuckle with how certain/ deluded some can be about how certain shares outcomes are 100% certain. The naivety of youth :-)

I guess someone, sonetime will do an analysis of the stocks that really made it over the long term, but I have this feeling that in the early stages its ‘dartboardR17; investing !

Although I’m sure its easy to remove stocks that have a really remote chance of making it big. Starting with the ‘world-beating’ braggards.

The joys of investing Yump. I think after enough years of investing you can find examples to back or go against any argument. I too had some ASOS, 20,000 from 4.88p a whole grands worth! Sold far too soon but I was a new investor and needed to make a bit of profit after a few losses and who knew how great a future ASC would have?!

A few years later I built a big position (for me) in IOF, made a lot of money on paper thought it was an ASC in the making then one operational blip became 2 and more and all my gains evaporated. I tend to err a bit more towards safety now, take some profit to diversify the portfolio and risk. The yo-yo gyrations are great on the up otherwise, less so on the down when all the eggs are in one basket. Of course when a stock goes vertical like ARB you wouldn't be human to not feel a few pangs of regret at having sold a few cheap. Hindsight would make us all multi millionaires!!!
