Think you may find you are going to be buying in at an opening price way above 14p tomorrow morning given this weekends events.

Nevertheless, best of luck with your trade.

I'm hoping to complete my masters in cyber-security by next September. The £50,000 was an inheritance from an elderly uncle who played the markets for years.

It was a fellow student who suggested studying cryptocurrency who said it was and would be the thing of the future. He used to mention bitcion in particular, but also said to study ethereium and ripple.

Very happy to buy ARB tomorrow for £25,000 - keep the other half back for emergencies.

I won't be selling these for a good number of years, and hoping that the ARB share price can eventually reach £1 say within the next two or three years.

Thank you Brasso3.

Maybe on reflection, I have a lot more to learn, but the £50,000 is still sitting there.

Have decided to take a "punt" and put half, £25,000 into ARB first thing tomorrow, and keep on studying.

However, I have no intention of selling this for some considerable time, as at my age hopefully I have many years to see my investment multiply.

Thank you for your input.

If you want to learn about bitcoin this is not really the thread for it. There is lots of material on youtube and great books out there (The Bitcoin Standard / The Internet of Money). From what you have posted so far it seems like you have done no research and are just gambling.

Can I ask, are these forward looking forecasts for BTC of $50,000, $100,000, $400,000 and even $1,000,000 serious?

Given ARB's current number of bitcoins in their reserve, and their ever expanding capacity to mine them, surely that would put ARB at a price of £1, £2, £5 and even £10 if the "magic" one million mark was ever hit for BTC?.

Or have I got my maths totally wrong and out of sync?

SNF, will have to rely on their judgment. It’s a big part of the holding in SMT, smaller in my other funds, but as I said time will tell.

Anyways not relying on Tesla to keep my retirement running. Hope ARB along with a number my other investments will help.

Goodluck all holders.

Uapatel - if your fund mangers haven't offloaded tesla into this final euphoria stage of the bull market they won't be in jobs for long. We are well into 'bigger fool' territory.Fair value for Tesla allowing for its growth potential, spaceX, neuralink, battery tech etc is around $5 IMO.I don't think they will win the electric car market - Toyota will

Who would have thought an online bookstore would look to sell groceries or pharmaceuticals. Crazy.

I think you either see Tesla as a car company that had an advantage and other manufacturers are catching up on the EV market or it’s a lot more than a EV car manufacturer. Time will tell. (Hold Tesla via my Baillie Gifford Trust/funds so have a biased view.

$8 to the current $3200 is a decent return though. Given that valuations are now ABOVE the dotcom peak as we are heading into an insolvency crisis leading to a liquidity crisis leading to a depression the current stock market rally is a top that might not be seen again for 25 years.

More than halved! It was $85 in the dotcom peak - a year later it had lost more than 90pc of it value at $8!I expect Tesla to do similar in the coming bear market.

Amazing to think that Amazon halved then...and now it's worth 100 times that value!

If you try and have a sensible conversation with a Tesla bull it's exactly like talking to a holder of Amazon in the dotcom bubble. I agree it's a great company with HUGE potential and i was a holder for a long time, and I sold out way too early earlier this year BUT the price now is 10 years ahead of itself just as amazon was back then. When it sells off a lot of peeps are gonna get toasted

Not sure if this is significant but at this level the Bitfinex order book looks mighty interesting. Up to 26k price there are 2000+ BTC available. From then up to 38k there are still only 2000+ BTC available. When they are gone, they are gone!
