19/12/2020 05:31 | That's a pretty bullish looking continuation flag on the 4hr. Upside break targets 27k. Break below 22.25k invalidates. Could be another interesting weekend! | ![]() suffersnofools
19/12/2020 05:25 | Frenzy - you 'warned' us all when you sold at 10p and then bought back in higher a few days later when you started fomo'ing - lol. I'd to better asking my dog for trading advice! He says HODL fwiw :) | ![]() suffersnofools
18/12/2020 18:52 | Well its been going institutional for what ? a few weeks, possibly a couple of months. From what I've seen on the stock market, institutions will pursue things up to eye watering levels. I mean, Pets at Home on a p/e of 25 at once point, probably imo because its one of the few retailers that will survive and is therefore taking a big chunk of institutional funds looking for a retailer home. One of my friends has now emailed his investment manager (he doesn't dabble himself) to find out whether there is anything BTC related in any of his funds and if not, why not. We can all be smug if we were early, but not too smug in case the bottom falls out. | ![]() yump

18/12/2020 14:51 | The funny thing is, self-serving or not the reality is nobody here is important enough to have any effect at all. But a BB gives the fake feeling that you might influence people. The best guidance from a BB is for the general feeling and for finding information that you didn't know, or for getting a different interpretation of it. Its obviously skewed to the upside; very few people say they've bought at the bottom, when its the bottom, although quite a few will say they sold at the top. I suppose if it massages a few egos... | ![]() yump
18/12/2020 14:46 | and if you really think that the big boys will not dump this with the rest of the market then you really are totally deluded! it is the PI's that are left holding the bags and I doubt that will change much ... HODL yes but not if you are getting in at these elevated levels ... you are playing with fire for that extra 5% lol Anyway, see what happens, I think Monday will result in some tears for many and NO this is not de-ramping, it is just an opinion whatever | ![]() topazfrenzy
18/12/2020 14:39 | if you do not have self-serving intentions in this game then just get a few ETF's and go back to bed | ![]() topazfrenzy
18/12/2020 14:38 | suffer, and you are not self-serving lol??? please spare us the purity of your soul | ![]() topazfrenzy
18/12/2020 14:16 | Thanks for confirmation - I too have banked some very nice profits over the last couple of days, but won't de-ramping ahead of my re-entry point. So agreed hes being a numpty :-) | ![]() ragnarr
18/12/2020 13:46 | People are not understanding how different things will be with institutions rather than retail. Retail are very weak hands and were surrendering bitcoin at regular intervals during the 2017 bull run at 100% profit levels. | ![]() brasso3
18/12/2020 12:48 | As I say It worked with PIs last time , will not work with institutions This time who will hoover it all up. We will see | ![]() gspanner
18/12/2020 12:43 | that's the script gs, except that the whales could well strip the virgin money of their holdings suddenly and violently ... to scare the living daylights out of them everyone is too confident thinking that there is a safety net but that safety net could quickly turn into a panic net with massive holes and liquidation across the board as stops are hit and BTC goes into freefall the euphoria seen in the press now is a big warning sign, the script may change but the outcome is often the same anyway, good luck but I've cashed in most of my profits in crypto, to include 100% in ARB | ![]() topazfrenzy
18/12/2020 12:27 | Topa, will drop 15% back to circa 20k then back up perhaps... But not more that that (unless all markets tank which is possible). Too much money waiting to buy, no longer a ratail investor game like other crypto. | ![]() gspanner
18/12/2020 12:24 | I even see it going to $12,000 before it surges again You have been warned! | ![]() topazfrenzy
18/12/2020 12:23 | The FCA ban is just on Derivatives like CFDs and ETNs. You can continue to trade actual BTC or whatever. | ![]() mattybuoy |
