Keep doubling up on Red/Black playing roulette and eventually you will win your first stake. Just have to make sure you have enough money to stay in the game.

A trend that in 2021 is only going to accelerate: large institutions accepting cryptocurrencies for what they are - the future of money.

Guys and girls, have a look at this project. Home grown well if you live in UK.

Disclaimer! I received a few for free.

So keep that in mind.

I know the guys behind project and really trustworthy IMO.

Only bringing attention to it as something to investigate.

Got a flash that IG won't be allowing crypto trading after 6 Jan, you gamblers are obviously skinning them. Lol

I just buy and hold.

Re: pound cost averaging. I ran some figures through a spreadsheet a few years ago, to see what would happen if you not only did pound cost averaging, but introduced some other rules, such as only buying when a stock had fallen x% and then for every multiple of x%, buying that multiple more of shares. eg. 10% drop buy 1000 shares. Another 10% drop buy 2000 shares. etc. Never buying on any rises.

Lost it on my old PC which frazzled itself, but the difference was staggering. Mind you it takes a lot of nerve to increase purchases after falls and it needs a long term (5-10 years) view. I also cheated by having some different rules if a world-shattering event happened.

I don't hold any stocks now apart from ARB and my silver miners. I wanted to beat the sellers stampede and put my money in the calm waters of Crypto :)

The correlation between gold and the USD has been strange over the last year. There is definitely a crash coming but timing is not so clear. I will be scaling out of several stocks towards Easter.

It just needs to decouple from equities. I'm sure it will, but when is the question.

I'm watching the blue dashed line. A close below (17700ish) and could head lower quickly.

$ cost average is always the best approach.

Split your funds into 20% allocations at $500 levels from $18k. I will be buying when it breaches $20k.

Am still waiting to buy my first BTC ... but happy to see ARB higher. Not sure what a good entry is for BTC, but guess if going to $100k like so many expect, a few $k difference on entry won't make too much difference as not using leverage, so can happily hold.

I don't agree Hootza - the data is compelling. When stocks tank - so does BTC

As ARB gets closer to bring new mining capacity online it makes sense that it will start to outperform BTC.
