04/12/2020 13:29 | Sirrux - BTC Mining difficulty went up 9% in Nov so they mined less BTC. ZEC block reward halved so less ZEC. Pretty straightforward. | ![]() suffersnofools
04/12/2020 13:19 | Fall over done given BTC recovery Over panicked | ![]() trentendboy
04/12/2020 13:16 | Wouldn't be difficult for them to just put a weekly counter on the website for coins mined, why not? It's all on the computer in realtime, unlike at traditional mining cos. Also, not sure what they mean by difficulty in Nov, it sounds different to what was being reported by the industry more generally due to a temporary shrinking of the global mining pool. Am I missing something? Hopefully they can sort out their teething issues for when new production capacity comes on line. | ![]() sirrux

04/12/2020 12:03 | If 18.8k holds maybe. Could go a fair bit lower if that fails and want to test the daily 20ema or lower trendline again | ![]() suffersnofools

03/12/2020 20:23 | Why spend your time and effort to invest in dogs to invest or hold BTC when you can just buy BTC? I have been your reckon unit.. There are some good ones, but remember they all come back to base for value. BWTFDIK | ![]() sideshowbull

03/12/2020 20:06 | SSB - I like ZEC :) It's a sound strategy as we'll benefit from BTC moves and the resultant, often bigger, ALT moves. | ![]() suffersnofools
03/12/2020 20:04 | Gspanner - it'll be the institutions driving the price down! They want lower prices not higher. | ![]() suffersnofools
03/12/2020 19:54 | SNF, yes I have looked at the historic charts. My theory is that BTC will not pull back to the same extent this time due to institutions accumulating on any dip (not individuals prone to herd behaviour). I can’t blame the btc whales for trying what has worked before mind you. If I were them I would sell the btc at the next peak and buy etherium at the resultant dip, since that will continue to pull back with the same volatility as before IMO. We’ll see.
