That's so true, perhaps to be all laughed about in the Common's Bar afterwards!

I just can’t get over them referring to a “debate” in parliament. Its about as far removed from a debate as I can imagine. Seems to just involve them all sounding off their own opinions.

Just be happy if the party you vote in is not communist. That is as good as it gets now!

That's great, the others will need to go pro-BTC or lose votes. Farage not a threat, unless he can grab on to a few coat-tails and BTC could go far. You got to remember there are no good options in the elections these days.

Is it a sell signal when a well-known village idiot gets interested ?

I can't imagine governments and banks managing to agree on anything - its taken goodness knows how long to even agree to the principle, that it might be a good idea to consider taking carefully considered action on climate change, in the fullness of time.

Although this is money we're talking about rather than the planet's future, so they might act quicker ;-(

Central banks/ governments are more concerned about the price of gold than bitcoin. If they shut BTC down (not even possible) then it will force more money into the gold market and gold will be in the $5k - $10k range.

I can't see it NOT going over the 20k, what happens after that might be fireworks. I really think 40 - 50k no problem, the institutions getting in now will want to see their "early mover" return so the market cap of BTC as an asset class could swell. There's some concern that Governments will shut it all down, but how and why would they shut down something that people want and has benefits that don't exist in other asset classes?

I will be buying at any price below $18k. When this is $100k the buy price will become less significant.

I thought you were buying at 15.5k Brasso? ;)

I'm still confident of adding at 14.8 or 13.7 - can't believe the big boys aren't going to want one last big flush out before taking it higher. Still way too many leveraged investors who think it's a one way bet.

I was hoping for a little top up at the 21 day MA which is now around $18,250.

So another BTC weekend - wild west time! A good time to smash it through the 20k mark on thin volume?

Nice idea.

So if we produce 2000 BTC in 2021 I will have 0.17% of that production or 3.4 BTC. :)

Makes me want to add more ARB...

I look at my ownership as a percentage share in the BTC producing machine. Just in case BTC does go to $1 million, this would be a nice machine to own part of.

That's what I was thinking when these were lower, I tried to work out how much I would need to buy to generate a set amount of BTC per year. I worked out it was cheaper than buying directly, does come with other risks though so need to keep an eye on management.

I think by the end of Q1 would could see 10% of the BTC supply tied up. Paypal will need to get to 0.5% of the supply if they want to go global with their BTC option.

2574 coins at $19k.

They bought the rest around $10k.

So you think Michael Saylor is bullish on BTC. 40.8K coins @ $19K = $800m (£600m) Nice!

How many do we hold? (178BTC). Lol

Thanks SNF, think I was a bit behind the curve, the days are just flying by so fast. I am in this for the very LT hopefully. Wish I had a few more, but let's see how they go.

gspanner - I was thinking the same! We haven't seen a wick down 500pts and then pump up 1000pts for a couple of months. Always a good tactic for Whales to knock out all the long stops and then use short covering to bust up through a key level like 20k.
