You can take a massive bow now It really was a most brilliant callI never thought we would dip below 70p and in all honesty was depressed when we hit 60p!! I am normally fine with the gyrations In my holdings but this morning was definitely an unpleasant time !

SNF is quite correct.
Once btc reaches the top of it's cycle, whatever level that is ...it will almost certainly return to the level it is currently.
Those that hold at that point will lose an absolute fortune.
Don't delude yourself that there is anything whatsoever fundamental or external that supports this.

Thank you nico kind sir.
But, I won't take a bow until this is significantly over 76p....even though i'm now a holder of arb.
Much prefer OBC actually.
Yes, I know it's a bit of a shell. But that doesn't matter to share price

I am holding my BTC until 2024/ 2025. I do not see that its that profitable to sell (top), pay the CGT and then get in again at the bottom. I think I will trade ARB instead around the cycle.

I think if we see those high then I doubt we will see it go below $50k on the next cycle.

SNF

Surely the bottom of the next bear cycle depends on the top of this bull cycle? What if overperformance to $288K as per S2F happens?

But BTC is so predictable it will be the pension funds that are left holding when we've all bailed end of this year. You'd expect BTC to trade back around 30/40k again bottom of this cycle.

Exactly, low hundreds, they have had to sell to expand and keep the lights on during the low btc price period and now have the opportunity to hodl, as per recent interviews, the additional money raised from the placing means they will hodl even more

That's right yump.
Plus most investors don't really get risk and reward and make bets too big because they convince themselves they have a sure fire winner.
Actually, no traded issue is a sure fire winner. They rise into a five wave bubble and then crash.
Same of course with bitcoin. It's well into a 3rd wave now. Can you imagine the monumental crash that will take place when btc completes 5 ? Then consider that at that particular point, more people will actually be buying btc than at any other point....scary !

Chip shortage will mean those already in the game like ARB will bank as competition restricted I agree some consolidation might take place Ability to raise funds as ARB just did is key and should squeeze out smaller playersVery well positioned and serious leveraged play on BTC price

Well there's an agreement ! Lost count of the number of times that I've heard people say that doomsters and critics have lost other people money because of what they could have won. They don't seem to get it when I say that not being invested cannot lose you money, but buying a hyped pile of loss-making rubbish when its already shot up will.

yump
