I don't think the TA debate is worth having, so I'll let it go, but I didn't ask for ONE example that's right. I've got lots of my own based on no theory at all.

Pleased for anyone who uses it and gets it right.

I think the important thing is not to trick yourself into thinking you've got a method because it works a few times, by ignoring the times it didn't work, or the times you didn't actually apply it, because you introduced a subjective element.

Who knows what would have happened here without the placing, because to ARB a BTC price averaging 30K is way better than the December average.

That's the actual business itself, which I've always found useful to analyse. Otherwise you have no clue about possible future profits at all. No mark in the sand for an upside or downside.

All the haters have retreated back to their shells! I'm sure once it drops 0.001 percent they will be back again haha! ARB is looking a lot more stable now and also BTC has steadied the ship! Great to see

News expected next week ;"Argo (LSE: ARB), the leading cryptocurrency miner based in the UK, is pleased to announce that 1,058 S19 and S19 pro miners from the company's order of 4,500 leased mining machines, made in November 2020, will be delivered ahead of schedule. These machines will be fully installed and hashing by the week of January 25th, three weeks early. These units will add 103 petahash to the company's current SHA-256 mining capacity of 645 petahash, bringing the total to 748 petahash before the end of January."

Suffers yip - the psychology is so difficult. The question I was asking myself at 120p was why I had offloaded too soon on way up at 15/17p and a small bit at 40p, instead of, how will I be feeling post a 30% BTC / 50% ARB drawdown. Having offloaded too early made me reticent to sell too much more at the short-term top. I guess as a fundamental guy, the deal at 80p made so much sense, was a steal, so was naturally inclined to buy more at that point.

Anyway, I am holding strong (although always tempting to cash in a large profit when price is dropping) and happy with my position after my top-ups yesterday of 10k shares at ~71p average. I expect a US rally today.

If believe BTC going to make new ATH's and still in bull market, then the placing deal is going to provide incredible momentum as increasing capacity each month for next 5 months (incl. leasing deal) PLUS extra cash for more HODL.
