11/11/2022 13:48 | Good point Yump, I really thought it should have been 127 after results. I’m holding long term as my vision is of a company many times the current size. Taking GAW as example, their p/e was single digit and took a while to gain trust that growth would continue, much the same as I’m seeing playing out here. Once investors were used to profits improving by double digit growth yr on yr the shares re-rated over a few yrs by a much higher percentage than the increased profit as the p/e multiplied four or five fold, resulting in share price multi bagging over 10x in those few yrs. Just need patience. What other companies are growing as fast yr on yr ? | big7ime
11/11/2022 13:24 | You are saying that after the event. It could easily have settled around 120p. Where is the book of analysis of all these retrospective rationalisations ? | yump
11/11/2022 12:31 | If you look at the chart, it was always going to test the 100p level a few times, the low of 2020 and late 2021. It could be in now, so wave goodbye to sub 100, and pathway is clear to 140p next, I would say that’s a possible level for early next yr. | techtrader5
11/11/2022 11:03 | Managed to top up at 101p. Could have bought lower but wanted to make sure the bottom was in. Onwards to 160p now please! | doctor888
11/11/2022 09:17 | That worked out well for the directors again. | big7ime

10/11/2022 23:53 | GAW I remember being equally frustrating and very similar chart . Then it 20bagged in five yrs Agfx will be a 2Bn co. if not 4bn, One day I know it I’m in for the long haul and the volatility is no problem. | big7ime
10/11/2022 23:34 | A mix of things I reckon, lack of int divi (I know - will be pd at eoy), annoyance at directors incentive at time most shareholders on big losses, st profit taking Daft and Short lived I know but annoying all the same Can’t find a share with better prospects at such value so might have to top up again tomorrow | big7ime
10/11/2022 18:37 | hi Ali, i was licking my wounds! (being a bit sarcastic as AGFX is a large holding of mine) It is interesting though that on a day when we have seen some large moves in various currency pairings (as the $ looks to be rolling over at last) that a company that should thrive in such conditions is down so heavily! | se81
10/11/2022 18:31 | I'd love to see the stats on whether the gaps filled idea is significant or not. I guess if enough people have been on a chartists course and have bought into the snake oil, then gaps will be filled. To hell with science. Its just nice when the "theorists" are caught out by practice based events. Which reminds me, its easy to prove the world isn't flat, because if it was, you'd see adverts for all the hotels on the edge with the view. (I saw that somewhere its not mine !) | yump
10/11/2022 17:57 | se 81 what do you mean on a day where most aim shares are up agfx is down 10pc- please explain | ali47fish
10/11/2022 17:36 | Cracking day to be long/overweight AGFX :( Back up or gap fill?? | se81
10/11/2022 17:05 | See post 944 | toffeeman
10/11/2022 16:54 | Gap to fill here down to 90p, then should be on its way again.. | shrout
10/11/2022 16:45 | Singers note is post 952. Upgraded EPS.. I’m guessing a larger holder wants out, or some traders have had enough. Shame as todays fall has tempered an otherwise excellent day. | dr biotech
10/11/2022 16:42 | Also quite possible that a financey stock attracts traders much more than a stock making widgets in a factory. | yump
10/11/2022 16:41 | apparently they switched brokers to Singer's who halved their EPS forecast for next year??? | arieljcohen
10/11/2022 11:48 | Added again. It's the nature of a bear market that good results/updates do not get the share price reaction that you would normally expect; it provides ample opportunity for the patient to accumulate bargains. | valhamos
10/11/2022 11:04 | Bonkers price but a decent profit from 80p if thats your thing | yump
10/11/2022 10:55 | Big7ime, it's on SETS and it was algo "AT" trades that were doing the selling. Probably institutions or large holders re-balancing. Don't think we need worry. | melton john
10/11/2022 10:39 | I topped up earlier at 102 | thebeast1
10/11/2022 10:37 | 96/98 looks like first decent entry / add point to me | se81
10/11/2022 10:31 | The LTIP 10% yearly hurdle will be satisfied when we get back to the share price at the beginning of this week! | chinahere
10/11/2022 10:23 | We are down almost 20% after the results so am I missing something or is it mms being over cautious, as volume seems light. | big7ime
10/11/2022 09:14 | Big7time I only buy food for them or other stuff, not cash. Mainly shop at Aldi now as I don’t believe we need all the “choice” of different types of the same product. Its just more pollution shifting it around just so we can choose from 20 types of Cheddar ! Mind you, I have the luxury of knowing how to cook ;-) Sorry got a bit o/t | yump |
