09/6/2016 11:01 | Looks like we are off again this morning. News soon? | garykc
09/6/2016 07:22 | Good morning Janeann - not sure about that particular customer RNS, as it was part of terminating that contract with one of our big customers. Wild speculation from my side while we wait.... 1. I wonder if there is some predatory interest given our low market cap and strong recurrent revenues ? 2. News of dividends 3. Some new contracts or increased size of business with an existing customer 4. Development of a new product 5. Anthony Cross adding to his collection 6. Newly appointed staff member picking some shares up. .... Good luck all :) | multibagger
09/6/2016 06:55 | well it was almost exactly a year ago they announced new terms with a significant client - perhaps something afoot a year on? 4 june 2015 - Arcontech (AIM: ARC), the provider of products and services for real-time financial market data processing and trading, has reported that new terms have now been agreed with the significant customer referred to when it announced its interim results in March. All payments previously owed to the company have now been received. | janeann
08/6/2016 18:18 | Interesting couple of days with firm movement on low volumes...what will tomorrow bring ? More interest or back to business as usual and minimal or no trades ? A RNS maybe ? | multibagger
08/6/2016 11:21 | Agreed. The business model is a propper business ( cash generative ).If there are any aquisitions in the future they will be cash generative. Organic growth within is key here. | oilbuy
08/6/2016 11:05 | I still think that given the customer stickiness, cash in hand of over £1.8m, no debt, dividends in the near future and a market cap of about £4.5m, even at this share price it is a steal. | multibagger
08/6/2016 10:59 | Anthony Cross 220M knows this is going the right direction. Wish I had taken more at .11p | oilbuy
08/6/2016 10:59 | Looks like it oilbuy....this time next year rodders.... | multibagger
08/6/2016 10:58 | Looking strong. .4p on the way ! | oilbuy
08/6/2016 10:53 | .34p for just 600k :) | multibagger
08/6/2016 10:51 | Won't it be lovely to know what is going on to explain this ? Is the shy and retiring Mr Cross spending his loose change ? | multibagger
08/6/2016 10:42 | Premium for that 1M buy. Are we close to seeing .4p | oilbuy
07/6/2016 21:52 | Not a leaky company so hard to think as to why the sudden upward movement on about 1.5m trades over 2 days. May be the cash pile has crept over 2.25m ! (just guessing) and juicy dividends are coming our way ? | multibagger
07/6/2016 19:33 | Nice to see the buy. Certainly no overhang here. Will we see a large delayed buy pop up over the next few trading sessions | oilbuy
07/6/2016 17:25 | interesting - another blip or something more significant I wonder. it started with a reasonable trade yesterday. | janeann
07/6/2016 15:35 | Sharp increase in share price on small volumes...let's see how long this lasts :) | multibagger
07/6/2016 14:43 | Very illiquid,could only get 0.5m | cbootle
07/6/2016 13:52 | Signs of life...a few trades since morning, not big numbers though :( | multibagger
30/5/2016 12:27 | Thanks Cbootle, much appreciated :) | multibagger
29/5/2016 10:26 | When I worked at Arc, we went through the reverse takeover of KTS, and we (staff) were given options at 1p (the share price at the time) - that would have been September 2007. The share price kept sliding to a bottom of 0.07p (December 2012) and have been rising since then. A few years before the takeover, say 2004, KTS shares were trading at 12p. Pretty meaningless comparison though, but IMO it's a better business now. IIRC, KTS were haemorrhaging money due to expensive server running costs and the first thing ARC did was to sell-off the loss making business and develop the synergistic technologies. Looks like the market didn't appreciate it much though. Getting new business is key and they've always struggled with very long lead times. Fortunately it's rare for them to lose customers and RALF (recurring annual license fees) cover costs so they are financially stable. If they pick up another major customer or two, the share price should fly. Whether directors had the same options I have no idea. | cbootle
28/5/2016 07:24 | RNS on 26.05.2016...by transferring ARC shares into ISAs for both himself and his wife, the CE is indicating a strong and confident outlook for the company and ensuring that they will enjoy tax free dividends and tax free capital gains. Wonder at what share price/ other financial measure, the options of the senior team are vested ? | multibagger
16/4/2016 17:29 | That's a fantastic entry price Cbootle...obviously a man who knows the business inside out having worked at ARC ! Pleased that you have comfortably multibagged :) The BoD can afford to give a very decent dividend given we are sitting on £1.8m growing cash pile and and no debt. Can't see what we are saving up for ? Anthony Cross has bought in a personal capacity and topped up more recently.... For what it is worth, I have developed my own software fund model which includes companies which are already profit making, dividend paying, high growth area / fragmented sector, decent director stake..... ARC CTP IDEA LTG PHD SIM ISPY ....to which I have added CYAN over the last fortnight or so - CYAN looks significantly de-risked following a £10m order from Iran. I think they are on the cusp of making rapid progress from here on but could need to raise funds for working capital given the size of contracts they have to deliver. Good entry point with reasonable margin of safety IMHO and share consolidation likely in due course. Good luck all :) | multibagger
16/4/2016 10:29 | Currently all my eggs are in one basket, ARC. As Anthony Cross is so well respected, can anyone kindly point to other shares held by him, or a way of finding those, or forums I should be watching? Seems good to follow the expert for my future buys. Holding onto my ARC shares though - bought 4m at 0.07p so very happy, looking forward to dividends in due course ;-) | cbootle
16/4/2016 08:43 | Doubt if Brexit would change anything. Right product, right place, right time, right price far more relevant... | napoleon 14th |
