11/11/2013 15:46 | Only thing easily imaginable as being "up" is if ARBB are considering floating some more, or all, of their STB holding. Seems the kind of thing that is popular at the moment. | pvb

04/10/2013 04:04 | at close on 3 oct, arbb owns 70.7% of stb with a market cap gbp349million ,so 70.7% x 349 is gbp247 million arbb closed at gbp9.07 with market cap of gbp135million any thoughts on how to really benefit from this anomaly in realistic practical way? long term holder of arbb | cnx
03/10/2013 18:11 | Today's drop seems excessive - STB has remained at about 2200 - very little trading - so why? | huttonr
04/9/2013 14:44 | Just picked up some very cheap stock at 960 and 965,STB stake worth 16.50 per ARBB share | mikeja
21/8/2013 12:53 | Whoops! But no bad news so far. Guess it is just reacting as per the market, particularly after such a large ramp upwards over the last few months. | pvb
13/8/2013 14:21 | Well bid atm. | mikeja
10/8/2013 15:25 | cnx, yes you are correct. The value of ARBB's holding in STB is £16.5 per ARBB share (at current STB mid-price). ARBB's share price is at a 41% discount to this (at the current mid of £9.7). So the rest of ARBB is effectively being valued at minus £101m. I can't see any justification for this. (If anyone gets different numbers, please let us know. I *have* allowed for the ARBB shares held in Treasury this time ;-) | papy02
10/8/2013 12:03 | I think the arbb holding in stb is worth more than the share price of arbb, so arbb is at a large discount to its nav. am I correct in my thinking? | cnx
09/8/2013 16:55 | The media flurry about Pay Day Loan companies seems to have died a death for now. Everyday Loans is, of course, owned by Secure Trust Bank (STB) which is part owned by ARRB - indeed it is the increasing share price of STB that seems to be the driving force behind the rise in ARRB. hxxp://www.everyday- So, safe for now. Let us hope this does not come back to bite the share price in future. Ironically, ARRB itself started out as STB and my ARRB Share certificate still says Secure Trust Bank... | pvb
