Hi,
I understand from the Company that you were due to distribute to shareholders on the 1 st of August. It would appear from social media that Canadian holders have rec`d their distribution between the 2nd & 5th & no British holders have rec`d theirs as yet!!!!!!!!!
Could you please advise why this delay has occurred & as my shares are held by Barclays nominees, if & when you send the distribution to them?

As your last portfolio valuation dated the 30/06/2019 states that our unrealised gains are to an estimated value of £178,984,910.84, i am interested in how we are to invest this apparent windfall!!!!!!!!!! (the incompetence of Barclays Stockbrokers never fails to surprise me)!!!!
In reality, we expect to receive about £3,350, subject to any fees for the conversion of the Canadian dollars & would like to arrange for you to transfer the proceeds, as soon as they are rec`d to our joint account with Barclays #######################
Please confirm that this has been arranged & we just hope that the Inland Revenue do not have access to those valuations, as it would be difficult to explain how we obtained the supposed book cost of 326,200,000.00 CAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No need to explain how 5 portfolio valuations were issued giving these figures without apparent checks, as we are already well aware of your incompetent management!!!!!!!

Barclays "Smart" Investor:

webchat (couldn't face phoning...) gist is your shares in AEY are now held in a client nominee account (they couldn't be held in my smart investor isa as they 'didn't qualify') - he gave me an address to write to for an update.

WRITE TO THEM! he wouldn't / couldn't give me any phone or email contacts! This is 2019 is said!

So I have initiated a formal complaint.

Still nowt but had a reply from ii saying they're looking into it as they are unsure how the cash is to be received by their custodian.Surely it can't be that complex FFS.....Someone (& I don't mean ii) making a few £££'s of interest as each day passes is probably the real reason!

Barclays tell me that this would normally take about 10 days!!!!!!!!!!!!
Read that as - All Banks involved in the transfer will take as long as they are allowed by law, so they can profit from the funds & you will get your share, less as much as we can possibly screw you for on exchange rates, when we are good and ready!!!!!!! Barstewards one & all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Remember folks, it was our taxpayers money that was used to save these unscrupulous Barstewards & their unjustified bonuses, when they had destroyed the worlds financial system with their greed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
