Is that 18 months from opening the letter? It took them 16 months to do that.

Why don't we have a little lottery as to the date the CRA gives clearance? Everyone who participates can put 10 dollars Canadian towards a Canadian charity nominated by the winner....being the person who is nearest.... If more than one winner then kitty is split.....Just to pass the time.....

I've had an email from Anthony Potter saying a little more than the web-site that

"the CRA have now confirmed receipt of the original application and are reviewing it. There was an article in the Calgary Herald last fall about backlogs in the Audit Division of the CRA which may or may not be a contributing factor."



My thoughts .. at this point in time shareholders can still hope for the C$7.2m to be distributed.

Post dissolution, an application for a Tax Clearance Certificate was filed with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). The CRA has confirmed that it has received and is reviewing the application. No timeline is currently available with respect to CRA processing the application.

Following receipt of the requested Tax Clearance Certificate, the final distribution will be made

Antrim was delisted from AIM in Sep 2016, delisted from the TSXV in Jan 2017, but not formally dissolved until April 2017.

C$7.2m was left, and the sum to distribute to shareholders could eventually be anything between C$7.2m and Nil.

I hope that a complete mess-up in the accounts would have been spotted by now, and a Nil return accepted a lot sooner than this.

But how would I even get to know about a Nil outcome as no money back would seem to mean no communication necessary with past shareholders?

Is the final decision posted when it has been made?

Can't believe still no news...is delay due to Potter or just Canadian Tax Clearance ...
No plans to expire but I could be dead by the time this gets sorted!! :(

No news I'm afraid. Got a reply though to say that as of April 27 they were still awaiting tax clearance from CRA. Things seem to move very slowly over there....

Thanks for your advice re Potter....but after all this time who's hurrying?? The last time I mailed these guys (Sept 17)I got a pleasant enough response …. so who knows?

Just sent an e mail to what I believe is the distribution company dealing with this and am awaiting a reply....(within 5 days) they say. Will let you know the result ...if any.....It's been a long long time ……...

Potter was a disgrace - I once had a lengthy chat with him and he professed that he had done a stellar job. He vehemently defended his decision to reject the offer from Sound indicating he did the right thing for shareholders.

I am not sure why the proceeds following the wind up have taken so long,and although it might seem obvious that Potter has no influence in such matters, his involvement in anything is a disaster.

I see no reason why clearance certificates can take such a disproportionate amount of time. One wonders if there is even any money left after Potter wound up the business.

The best holders can hope for is that the proceeds hit their account at some point before the end of the year, though that is not nearly a given. This may well stretch into 2019.

Shame on them for not giving any explanation, being left to speculate about the reason for the delay is not good enough.
