06/1/2019 10:08 | Any chance of recovering our funds in 2019, or does the true course of Canadian bureaucracy run even slower!!!!!!!!!!!! | enfranglais
28/12/2018 07:17 | Alexkevin , Thank you for your reply back in October , just remembered to look ! | holts
27/12/2018 19:32 | Well … A Happy and Hopeful New Year to all fellow sufferers...… Logically one should write this off but then one thinks it can't be far to go now. Mind you, I said that last New Year too...… …….Good luck on all your other ventures everyone...... | alexkevin
27/12/2018 16:44 | I did point out that it was not improbable this would run into next year - I think even 2019 seems optimistic - what kind of agent has the Co appointed to liaise with the CRA? He/she must be a Potter clone... yasX24 May '18 - 23:57 - 3531 of 3574 Edit FB, Potter was a disgrace - I once had a lengthy chat with him and he professed that he had done a stellar job. He vehemently defended his decision to reject the offer from Sound indicating he did the right thing for shareholders. I am not sure why the proceeds following the wind up have taken so long, and although it might seem obvious that Potter has no influence in such matters, his involvement in anything is a disaster. I see no reason why clearance certificates can take such a disproportionate amount of time. One wonders if there is even any money left after Potter wound up the business. The best holders can hope for is that the proceeds hit their account at some point before the end of the year, though that is not nearly a given. This may well stretch into 2019. | yasx
12/11/2018 10:17 | I only ever reply to a post. I never bump the thread. | fardels bear
12/11/2018 08:57 | FB More enlightening than you reminding us periodically that it is taking a long time. As though holders did not know that... | yasx
12/11/2018 00:07 | So you keep saying. | fardels bear
12/11/2018 00:05 | With Potter involved with anything (although one might reasonably say he has nothing more to do with this) any return has to be considered a bonus. He turned down a very 'sound' offer from Sound some years ago, churning out his spurious legerdemain that it undervalued the Co. and that he had better things up his sleeve. Had that been accepted in Sound shares, holders would have been sitting on a ten bagger a year later. Potter is and will always be a self serving disgrace. | yasx
11/11/2018 07:18 | Yes, thanks for that info enfranglais. A glimmer of light appears even though most have moved on, would be nice to get something back.....onwards and sideways! | alexkevin
10/11/2018 20:24 | Thanks for the update! Hope there is something left in the kitty...and we get it soon! | dougdig

09/11/2018 17:36 | The CRA has contacted the agent to co-ordinate a review, and the agent should now be aware of the progress, if not the timeline. So "co-ordinate a review" suggests to me the CRA working together with the agent from this point. | itsriskythat
09/11/2018 14:34 | Latest found on Google search - more waiting, while review takes place - barstewards!!! September 07, 2018 12:03 ET | Source: 2015960 Alberta Ltd. NOT FOR DISTRIBUTION TO U.S. NEWS WIRE SERVICES OR DISSEMINATION IN THE U.S. CALGARY, Alberta, Sept. 07, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- As previously announced, Antrim Energy Inc. (“Antrim" or the "Company”) (former stock symbols: TSXV:AEN and AIM:AEY), voluntarily dissolved on April 26, 2017 with the Company’s remaining funds to be distributed by the Company's transfer agent to the Company's shareholders as of the dissolution date, following receipt of a final Tax Clearance Certificate from the Canada Revenue Agency (“CRA”). Post dissolution, an application for a Tax Clearance Certificate was filed by the administrative agent, 2015960 Alberta Ltd., and while the CRA has confirmed that it received the application, over a year has passed since the application was filed. During this time, despite the administrative agent regularly following up on the status of the application with the CRA, no written correspondence was received from the CRA with respect to the application and while the administrative agent is aware of media reports about backlogs in the Audit Division of the CRA, this may or may not be a contributing factor with respect to the lack of response. Given the lengthy delay and lack of communication, the administrative agent filed a formal complaint with the CRA. Subsequent to filing the complaint, the CRA has contacted the administrative agent to co-ordinate a review of the application. No timeline can be given with respect to CRA further processing the application. For further information please visit Antrim's SEDAR profile at www.sedar.com. 09/11/2018 14:24 | Has Canada gone on strike or did Potter & Co. leave the accounts in such a state as to be illegible? Can`t see the directors as being paid now, as they have resigned but you never know with that load of robbing barstewards!!!!!! So frustrating, as i left £3k`s worth in here & it has now been tied up for years!! | enfranglais
12/10/2018 23:42 | This may help:- hxxps://www.taxinsid but Antrim not on HMRC list at June 2018:- If you succeed with claim (I think for CGT losses rather than Income) any subsequent proceeds will count as a Capital Gain at date of distribution which could possibly take you into Chargeable Gains when totalled with other Gains if these exceed personal exemption limit,. Worth a try I fancy? Not for me though - my AEY are in an ISA so outside CGT provisions. [substitute t for x in http bit to get first link to work] | dougdig
12/10/2018 13:01 | Holts.....Yes I should think you can use this loss for CGT loss. Just give the figure that you have invested in this on your tax form …….. minus an estimate for what you might get back from this shambles ……… | alexkevin
12/10/2018 11:58 | Potter is still being paid for failure I suppose. | seangwhite
12/10/2018 11:20 | Written this off , mind wise long ago , however want to use the CGT loss for offset anyone know if that is possible yet ? | holts
