04/5/2018 01:08 | Waiting is wearing me out!! Another month gone with no news. :( | dougdig
12/4/2018 23:11 | I have a small shareholding in Antrim but I've now written it down to zero in my spreadsheet. If I get something back in future years I will look on it as a welcome bonus and I'll treat the family to a short holiday. Note to self. Never again hold shares in a delisted company. | kev0856153
10/4/2018 17:24 | Today I've had a reply from the company saying that the CRA has yet to issue a clearance certificate. No more information than that about timescale. | itsriskythat
04/4/2018 09:03 | Thanks for the info flyfisher. | farmscan
29/3/2018 08:19 | The company is awaiting clearance certificates from both the CRA and the regional alberta authorities. Alberta only issue clearance certificates after the cra has issued theirs. At early december the company was still awaiting CRA tax clearance certificates. Alberta have a typical response time of 4 months. That takes us to april as being the soonest it could complete. | flyfisher
29/3/2018 00:33 | Potter ran this Co. for his own benefit. He advised to reject a very good deal from Sound and then did nothing but draw a salary for a few years while pretending significant opportunities would emerge. He then indicated there was no deal, and the proceeds from the wind up have still to be delivered. Potter was one of the most inept operators I have ever encountered. | yasx
28/3/2018 17:32 | Just put it down to experience - never invest in Companies run by crooks? Should have got out before the liquidation & perhaps the funds could have been invested elsewhere for a profit, rather than be held in limbo for years & at the mercy of currency exchange movements!!! | enfranglais
28/3/2018 11:31 | Depends also on how long you intend living. | itsriskythat
28/3/2018 11:05 | Thats if i'm still alive ..lol | ohisay
27/3/2018 17:14 | I assume that if anyone learns what's going on, they will post here. | itsriskythat
27/3/2018 13:17 | Spoken to Barclays yet again but since the change to that infamous misnomer "Smart Investor" (anyone `Smart`, will have left by now), they stated they are chasing the liquidators - most likely doing sweet fanny adams, as nobody in the glorified call centre knows what they are doing anyway!!!!!!!!!!! Frustrating to be left with this shareholding in a separate account & another "pile of pooh" in another account (waiting for years for a re-listing that never comes), before i can close all my Barclays accounts & be able to thumb my nose to their continued disinterest in providing any kind of customer service (except robbing them blind)!!! The only saving grace is that their continued incompetence has earned me £800 in compensation payments in the last 2 months, so i may have the chance to double that before the Canadian Revenue allow me to close all my Barclays accounts, after 46 years as a downtrodden customer!!!! Bah Humbug!!!!!!! | enfranglais
20/3/2018 05:10 | Not a pretty sight and could well worsen this week with fed hike and more Trump protectionism So 5.5c per share equivalent to 3p - down from 3.4p in september - a 12% hit because of the delay | ohisay
12/3/2018 19:36 | This is the most ludicrous waiting period one can think of. | yasx
12/3/2018 17:45 | Well spotted. I hoped someone would pick up on that | hugepants
12/3/2018 16:55 | ? £1 = $1.78300 CAD | thaaarg
12/3/2018 14:01 | The Canadian loonie has been battered a bit recently. Recovered slightly though to £1 = $3.08 CAD | hugepants
25/2/2018 15:28 | People will have to be completely mad to invest with any of the old Antrim failures.Still no money from the liquidation as Potter could be too busy on his various projects. | seangwhite
25/2/2018 12:04 | Greer and Chancellor have been planning their next O&G 'gravy train' and the cynic would expect an IPO this year? | itsriskythat
18/2/2018 15:12 | There's a precedent online. Liquidation of Diversinet Corp In May 2014 the liquidator filed application for tax clearance certificates On Sept 23,2014 the excise tax clearance certificate was issued On Oct 29,2014 the income tax clearance certificate was issued On 16 Decemeber, 2014 cash was distributed to shareholders | hugepants
05/2/2018 10:07 | This was what Potter considered good value when he decided to reject the proposal from Sound - even though he clearly had no alternative for delivering shareholder value. He just sat around drawing a salary for another year or two, and then decided the only option was to distribute the remnants to holders (which has taken another two years, or will have by the time this is concluded). If Potter ever makes a return to the market, sell that stock without blinking. | yasx
05/2/2018 09:16 | Thank you. | langland
05/2/2018 08:18 | Langland, 61m dirhams or 60 cents / 42.5p. Sorry I am on holiday and do not have email details on this device. I have read that Alberta only issues a clearance certificate after a federal certificate has been granted. I have also read that Alberta takes up to 4 months to issue. In November they were still waiting for the federal certificate, | flyfisher |
