Exchange rate going in the wrong direction here.
Verifying all taxes have been paid is clearly a time consuming business. Either that or there is a big backlog. Hopefully we'll get a resolution this year sometime.

By way of comparision Tejoori shareholders can expect their liquidation proceeds by mid April, that's less than 6 months after Tejoori decided to liquidate.

flyfisher might have an idea but my guess is not soon.
I could not believe my old broker II who took over TDD/TDW wanted me to transfer my holding to Charity so they could finish closing my account.
I have politely told them "No!" - there will be a modest few thou to come one day and until then my account is dormant. They still insist I have to pay quarterly fees even though account is inactive. Could do with final distribution pdq to get away from that lot! So frustrating!

FWIW I have some experience of Canadian IRS in the 90's and I can tell you they will crawl over anything and everything .If thats any consolation - but TBH I thought a resolution before now.

I guess tax clearance we expected towards the end of 2017 is still awaited - or is there another excuse for not paying out?
Assuming there is still some left could do with the cash now rather than leave it to my heirs and successors!
AEY management a disaster from start to finish!

Hi....This might be some help. I heard from AST Trust Company PO Box 700 Station B Montreal QC. H3B 3K3 that they are the distribution agent and that they are awaiting tax clearance before they can proceed. They didn't say when they expect tax clearance to happen. I am also a Barclays acct holder and have been informed by them that they are aware of the situation and that I need do nothing more but wait for the distribution. Company was dissolved in april, 4 months for federal tax clearance and then another 4 months for alberta tax clearance, suggests around the year end.
