tb3...me thinks the christmas spending speculation is all built in the price...they might have to heavily discount the winter lines due to mild temperatures...for some reason I just don't like the style of their clothing despite such a high street prominient name...maybe I am an old fashioned...

Any of you guys looking for a short might want to look at NXT...RSI overbought and correction well over due...No Advice Intended!...

Looking at top of the thread right chart it has so far similarities of the price rise of early October...and then towards the end of Oct we had the correction...are we going to have the same action?..

order to short at 906 missed by a whisker...frustrating when you can't screenwatch. wondering if this is trying to breakout.

mmm, still holding my short which is a little bit in profit now, but thinking there has to be more to go, not really had much of a pull back after a 150 point rise and the dollar seems to be picking up a little which should pull markets and commodities back

Ah, forget what I said - unemployment is actually stuck at 7.8%, it has risen slightly.

yes a lot of seasonal/part time/temporary employment at play...some of the employment agencies had a field day due to Royal Mail strikes...

Anto wants to get 900p out of it's system!..

tb3...I mentioned that just few days ago...probably shorts being hunted and very short term programme trades doing the damage..

just buying pressure overwhelming the sets system maybe?

UK unemployment has reduced for the first time since July 2008 down from 7.9% -> 7.8%, maybe the markets will rally on this news..... oh wait, they've already done that through speculation lol. Reckon the drop will be down to people taking on x-mas staff. Think the possibility of double digit unemployment in this country is still realistic

only 200,000 shares traded, doesn't make sense to me, why does it rise on such small volume, any idea's?

DOW has put on over 600 points since late last monday, really needs to come off the boil.

Gold is getting a bit silly, but I think it'll be much higher in dollar terms in the coming years as the dollar is unloved by all. Under 70 on the index probably isn't far away

This rally is on the back of Gold related speculative driven with FTSE heavy weights getting a free ride thus pushing the world indexes higher...Gold needs to pop!!...

added to mine 897p to average 885p now, mining index well at the top of its trend shouldn't really be much upside left

re-opened at 873p, looks like it has broken out the 1hr upward trend and re-tested it at around 875p, although a retest of a more minor trend in the 890's may be on.

aiming for around 830p, the gap at 840p is about as near to certainty of getting filled as you can get anyway

My other short is still under water...if we do get a push down to 840p-850p I might have to close that at a small loss...but will offset with today's gains...

tb3...I had similar target of around 932p...it could well gap up tomorrow morning to your target of 910p-920p..

RSI looks overbought and getting close to 100...even the chart only goes up to 100!!...
