Increased mine, which I don't usually do (not into averaging up shorts, or down on longs) might regret it now copper has finally made $3/oz, first time since September last year, only looking for 20pts on my added position though, then aim for high 700's if possible on my 840p failure.

CW...yes me too still holding short from 849p...and a good possibility of it retouching 700p again...just needs a trigger point of some sort...the game on the long side is currently proving just too easy..

anybody who bought this time last year and still holding would be well pleased...if it was me I would cash me chips ( No Advice Intended)...unfortunately it's not me!!!...

I think I know where diku is looking for that sort of resistance (on the rising trend lines?). I'm still holding mine, we haven't seen the last of the 700's and I'd be surprised to see 900's before 700's.

yes diku, it looks weak compared to the ohter miners today

am expecting a sell off this aftenoon (usually get one after OPEX) so if thats right then this could go back to 820 today

Copper falling and the index looking like it wants to fall, might start building into profit after jumping the gun yesterday, all down to the yanks and if the 10k+ is here to stay or not.

Never traded HAWK as yet, just added it to my watchlist the other day, like the look of it but the chart looks volatile which is making me a little apprehensive to buy yet, 30's looks a good entry point. I like Afren, took profit at 92p. Also watching GKP,MXP,MOG,VOG,CAD. I keep buying HMB in anticipation next year will be their year. fingers crossed.

Am starting to open a few small shorts here and there, I personally dont think the markets will continue this bull run for much longer, although wouldnt bet my house on it, atleast not yet. Good luck pal

Done nicely on HAWK this week. In from higher initially but bought twice more, at 38 and 36 which I sold for 45+ yesterday. Still invested though. Never really tempted by CAD, probably because I already have too many oilers on my watch list (EO. EME GKP HAWK MXP AFR PET - though currently invested only in the first 4).

Some good recent trades on JRVS, MNR and SKR recently as well. Still managing to make a profit every month since December, though a bit variable. Feb/Mar/Apr were blinders, Jun the weakest so far (though Oct could replace it)

Only a small punt here, took a profit way too soon, but it was a bit of cash lying around in my ISA and I'm not a fan of cash when the markets are riding high.

shanghai copper stocks up 12%, cant see my 900p+ happening today!

Hows your trading going Davius? Have you ever had a look at CAD or HOC or HAWK? HGM has done well for me recently. Took a small position on ETFS Natural Gas, looks good for the winter despite bearish sentiment, quite volatile though!

Yep, still short aiming for high 700s (around 770 I think), I think there is lots of speculation on commodities & dollar weakness looking at the spiking of gold etc, and looking back the markets tend to over speculate and will probably come down at some point and overshoot to the downside
