Looking at the top left chart it looks like it's all over the place...down at the open then flat line then down more and finally closes up end of the day...

Goldman is doing all the damage on the upside!...

No commission? When I used a CFD account I was hit with £20 buy, £20 sell and £20 stop loss fees, plus the spread, so £20 a point (effective investment of £16K) with say a 2p spread needed 5p just to break even.

Doing well this afternoon. 800p is enough for me. "Davius has left the building. Thank you and good night".

davius, it'll be a spread bet, the only cost is really the spread and any rolling charges incurred

5magic; it's pretty range bound in the 700's, so low 700s will do me, 830p stop is just in case it spikes into the 800's then falls back again

Manufacturing and industrial production down today on previous months and on forecasts, detachments from fundamentals don't last long

Davius, looks like it might touch 800p today, cant see it going much past this at present though, recent price target of 1000p by goldman is a bit far fetched i think, but who knows, copper price looks weak to me!
Alcoa reporting wednesday, could be interesting for the miners...

Not much loved then this one? Had a bit of spare cash in my ISA and wanted something that moves around a bit so took a punt here. Then RBS decided to stick it on their buy list :0)

Not sure whether to take profits already or see if it hits £8 again...

766p short still open...just luck rather than judgement...other duties keeping me away from the screen...will be looking to close tomorrrow...but hunch tells me a big downer next week coming ahead of 3rd quarter reporting season in US...
