04/9/2020 13:11 | Seems the spread has dropped to 4.55 %...right direction MM but not enough quite yet for me.. | washbear
20/8/2020 16:39 | Just purchased a maiden position today just over 20k worth, I've had these in my watch list for a while. But already getting hammered on the spread. | igoe104
14/8/2020 13:41 | May I suggest, cfro, that in future you get your divis paid directly to your bank account? | nocton
14/8/2020 12:04 | Sorry to hear that, cfro. Hopefully the snail mail will get moving soon. But at least you have some great results to look forward to on 9 September! Management even seemed to want to temper investor excitement in advance by talking about customers building inventory. Lots of things are going right. Like partridge1948 I was very encouraged by the details and tone in their written AGM Q&A responses about direct sales, China etc. I was also delighted to see Lord Lee mention Anpario (first, even) among "the pick" of his holdings, and also that he has been adding more recently. (FT 1 August) | vprt
14/8/2020 11:08 | Here we are then two weeks on and i am still awaiting my dividend. Not the company's fault - they sent the cheques on July 30th. Not the registrar's fault - they say the cheques are stuck in Royal mails system. Have you all now received your dividend or are there any more shareholders like me stuck in limbo? | cfro
07/8/2020 13:32 | Yes. AJBell. | reddevil28
07/8/2020 10:51 | HL - yes, received on 31 July - so still no problem at my end... | vprt
07/8/2020 08:47 | Interactive Investor - yes idealing - not yet | valhamos
07/8/2020 08:38 | Yes, received on time as expected. And as usual paid direct into bank. The voucher was a couple of days late, but that's the post. | nocton
07/8/2020 08:15 | Somebody said the other day that they couldnt see a problem... Well, they are not very good at paying their dividends out on time. Supposed to be paid last Friday 31st July and a week later and still waiting.. Anyone got their dividend yet? | cfro
28/7/2020 16:50 | They make me boil sometimes......buys all day, no movement......one sell right on bell.....down 8p......was near same last week......all buys no movement.....bah!!!! | tailgunner
03/7/2020 16:59 | No RNS for the 3 large trades yesterday. 1 Rns for BGF purchase of 3.5% today. I RNS of Black Rock reduction from over 5% to 4.7% which took place yesterday. So it looks like 10% of the company has ben bought @ £3.70 per share for Diddley squat share price movement. Rather odd | earwacks
02/7/2020 19:28 | steve3, there are some high volume trades (but no RNS - yet, at least). They went through at 370p early afternoon but reported later. | vprt
02/7/2020 19:14 | Nothing on RNS that I can see. Can you provide details? | steve3sandal
02/7/2020 19:13 | Anpario's problem is... Hmmm, can't seem to find any! | vprt
02/7/2020 18:51 | Anpario's problem is somebody just bought 4.5 million pounds worth Nice problem! | earwacks
28/6/2020 16:54 | Nice bit of broker opinion here: hxxps://www.brokerli | nocton
27/6/2020 12:26 | Anpario's problem is that it has long traded on a growth company rating but over the last few years has not enjoyed much growth. However, unlike many small cap stocks it ticks many of the right boxes when it comes to dealing with its small shareholders who are often denied the same access to management as the big institutions. After this week's AGM, its website carries detailed answers to shareholder questions submitted in advance, and included a link to the latest paid-for broker research on the company. Its decision to give sizeable charitable donations to two of its local hospitals, and use its business relationships in China to secure a shipment of face masks for local care homes, is an all too rare example of the 'acceptable face of capitalism'. However, one of the most the most reassuring signs is that Anpario's employees, represented by the Royal Trust Company of Canada Custodians, are the biggest shareholders, with a combined 11.9% stake. | bottomfisher
27/6/2020 08:52 | Worth looking at the AGM Q&A published on the website. Better margin direct sales growing nicely.I have recently added. | partridge1948
25/6/2020 13:08 | Nice statement. Local [for me] hospital donations too. Trebled my [small] holding today because this looks like a 'steady-eddy' in these troubled times, with a divi [ex- soon] and a 'green' aspect. | reddevil28
25/6/2020 09:22 | I hope you are right, vprt. There are a lot of positive noises but short of an explicit "ahead of expectations" comment at this stage - I guess because of Covid uncertainty. I was also conscious that last year they were doing better than expected at H1(in the context of ASF) but there was a higher forex charge at the end. However I have been steadily increasing my position here over the last few months and topped up yesterday. | valhamos
25/6/2020 08:53 | And the authorities in China - a huge pork market - BANNING the use of antibiotic growth promoters from July does not look bad for 2H 2020 either. Topped up. | vprt
25/6/2020 08:49 | Valhamos, I think you are being modest, as is the habit of Anpario's management: Their statement "delivered a strong sales performance and a corresponding improvement in our profit margins in the first half" can only mean that they are smashing modest/flat expectations. Their fresh annual report is similarly encouraging with more details on success with a variety of intiatives and improvements in multiple markets. Now even China, which has hampered them recently due to ASF, is bouncing back. I think we can look forward to 9 Sept (1H results) with lots of confidence. | vprt
25/6/2020 08:39 | Reassuring AGM statement; looks like we should at least match last year's profit which in these Covid times would be no mean feat. | valhamos |
