I am planning to attend the AGM so will put the question there.

That's a fair question
The AGM is coming up in 2/3 weeks so you have two options.
Either attend the meeting and ask the question directly, alternatively put it in writing in advance and ask for it to be specifically addressed and explained at the meeting
I also think the new chairman is the sort of person who would happily address and explain this type of issue

In Cerrito's post 1031, re the 2017 AGM he mentioned a question I asked:
"Question asked about Director Remuneration and the fact that not broken down-not an AIM requirement for this to be so but they did say they would revisit.."

Now in this years' report I see that they have not addressed the issue and further the remuneration of Edwards, the CEO, has gone up by £115,000 to £412,000 and of Prior, the Finance Director, by £91,000 to £299,000, with no explanation. I think these are excessive rises and excessive remuneration for a company of this size. It's making me think about selling out especially as the p/e is high and vulnerable to any bad news. It suggests that the directors interests are not aligned with the shareholders' interests.

hope your account is below 50k with them as it is my understanding the liquidators will take out of client accounts above that to pay for their £55m fees. yes £55m!!

Well....there's nothing i can do..... account stuck till PWC transfer to another broker.... got email saying they hope this will be done by 18th Sept..... not holding my breath tho.... lol........ As long as ANP keeps playing ball like it has done recently.....no harm done.....Like I said b4....This is long term hold for me.

Unfortunately my ANP shares are trapped in my Beaufort portfolio...... no matter though, as I'm not planning on selling anytime soon..... lots to this story still to come. PWC reckon they will transfer portfolio to another broker about 18th Sept this year......

I see that this year's AGM is at Worksop Head Office-June 28 at 2pm which if coming from London entails a 1106 train from Kings Cross.
For various reasons I have reduced my holding so will need to see if I make it

The headline numbers all look pretty good.
Similar progress to previous years, but in a much more positive and accelerated way which bodes well. No doubt in part due to the more confident and positive approach from the new(ish) chairman
And no debt, just a growing net cash position
The company sits in an increasingly interesting market sector and this remains a long term hold for me
IMHO

I guess no real surprise that there was a V modest drop in the share price given that at these levels people may be looking at an increase in diluted EPS at more than the 12.58p to 14.17p achieved; also as you would expect from Lawrence the outlook statement was sober; in addition sales fell H2 over H1 £14.8m to £14.4m and PBT as well £1.6m to £1.4m. I assume that the stronger £ vs the US$ accounted for some of this fall.
I have gone through what came out this morning and have the following observations.
I had a modest top up last week, have reduced in the last three months as I need liquidity and do not anticipate buying or selling in the near future

Shareholder change on last year. Unicorn down from 11pc to 8.8 pc and Investec down from 6pc to 4.8pc.
Geographic sales/profits split
YOY 2016/7 decent increase in all regions except Europe with an increase from £6.5m to £6.8m.
Profit increase in Asia and Europe pedestrian but decent in Middle East and Americas.
Intangibles
I see they are valued at about 22pc of book net worth. It seem we will need to wait for the AR to get details but good to read the Auditor's letter and the focus they placed in intangibles valuation
FX
As they highlight in the text FX is important and the strengthening of the £ against the USD is a headwind. I see that 30 pc of trade receivables are on sterling.
We will need to await the AR for more information on this.
Baring anything significant , the next news will be the mid year AGM statement

At first glance good results but need to kick the tyres.
What for me is most impressive is that they have given us all the material that is in the AReport so early in the reporting cycle; we can only hope that other AIM companies would be as efficient

I do not think that fall big enough to warrant a RNS.
I see that in H2 2017 cash up by £1m compared to £0.3m in H2 2016 but there may have been less working capital needed or lower capex
Yes there seem to have been alot of for ANP big trades today.
I have been selling down earlier in the year and am reviewing whether to buy back in.
