The planning and EA applications are aligned and the two minor outstanding issues with the EA are expected to be cleared early January. The Civil Works have been broken down to smaller contracts and half of them are already placed, remainder to be awarded early in the year (In take this to mean Jan).1st gas in March now looks a lot more likely and I now believe that it can be achieved (COS 90%++, in my opinion) | solo4yous
31/12/2021 09:37 | gaffer: well, they’re clearly spending unbudgeted sums on air freight, increased staffing levels, site re-design, bigger flare, overtime etc. as he details in recent disclosures. The autumn weather must be adding to the site costs as well - these works were supposed to have been started in July. The work on Brockham and Lidsey is not part of the loan agreement so must be coming from whatever cash remains and from the recent placing and it would be surprising if they don’t need a lot more. The consultants whom they’ve found it necessary to use as an interface with the various permitting authorities don’t come cheap either and their recent work will not have been in Anguish's earlier budgets. Wasn’t there a question as to whether the flare that’s been delivered is the new one or the old, re-conditioned one, too? | jtidsbadly
31/12/2021 09:24 | I'd like to know how much of the loan is remaining. Why would all these placings be required? No mention of a revised first gas date yet. | gaffer73

31/12/2021 09:10 | JA51: he skirted the HSE approval, I think. His comments directed at his detractors were ungracious. The latter have been remarkably accurate so far. If he thinks even in his wildest imaginings that he’s done a competent job here, he should look at the standard yardstick of LSE quoted companies: the share price. There’s some guff about availability of small components, the impact of which he then tries to minimise. I think he’s preparing us for more time slippage. He’s still sticking officially to his February timeline though. I predict a second share issue in the second half of February, to follow the one in mid- January. Possibly a third in March/April. 2bn. shares in issue.. | jtidsbadly
31/12/2021 08:51 | Hi, there appears to be a drilling rig at Saltfleetby. What has this been used for? Thank you Asked on 16 December 2021 This small rig was brought onto site to ensure that Well SF07 was fit for our particular side-tracking programme. In particular the well head was nspected, tubing recovered, valves replaced and a cement bond log test was run to esnure that cement was duly in place and our choice of depth for whipstock and sidetracking was appropriate. This was a successful and cheap operation done with a small rig which greatly derisks time and cost overrun on the main sidetrack operation in Q2 with a much larger rig. See our Twitter account for pictures. | 3put
31/12/2021 08:50 | EA approval was expected by latest 17th December and this date has passed. Is there an update on this? When is EA approval now expected? Asked on 20 December 2021 As regards Saltfleetby and as answered elsewhere, we think we should close out remaining issues in early January and do not see this matter as a roadblock to first gas | 3put |
