JA51: yes, I’m afraid I forgot to look at the full text in “presentations”, I merely consulted the 3-pager in “news”. I’m not sure, however, how many of the experts on the other site will have done so, so there may still be scope for consternation at the size of the next issue.

In the event that they issue all the shares for which they’re seeking permission in one go at a price of 0.50p, that will raise a maximum of £2.5 mm, net of expenses. It’s not clear to me that even this will be enough to complete the project. They will be desperate for a decent rise in the share price before the issue. Expect a frantic effort by the shills. JA My understanding is that the figure above, taken from resolution 1, is the total they may issue and allot so would include any shares issued and alloted for the CLN or a right issue or for any other purpose.

So if you add the CLN into that, 2 billion possible by this time next year then?
Does that include the rights issue they want?

JT They've indicated how many shares they are seeking authority for, just divide the nominal amount of £1,748,939 by the 0.2p, by my calculations it comes to over 874 million

A spokesman for Russia's energy monopoly Gazprom, Alexei Kupriyanov, said the latest natural gas shortage in Western Europe was a result of the lack of bids, rather than Gazprom's fault.
As Ukrinform reports with reference to Radio Svoboda, Kupriyanov stated this, speaking on one of Russian TV channels.

"All the accusations against Russia and Gazprom claiming we deliver little gas to the European market are completely baseless, unacceptable and false ... And Gazprom mustn’t be blamed. It is better to look in the mirror," Kupriyanov said.

Gazprom's manager said certain customers, in particular those from France and Germany, have already fully received all their annual contracted volumes and, accordingly, no longer submit bids for gas supplies, while Gazprom is booking transport capacity based on existing bids, not the other way around."

"This year, Gazprom has delivered to Germany under a contract 50.2 billion cubic meters, which is 5.3 bcmmore than last year," Kupriyanov said.

At present, Kupriyanov said, "according to available data, there is a physical gas reverse flow from Germany to Poland and, apparently, to Ukraine – in the amount of 3 million to 5 million cubic meters per day," with the gas being taken from underground storage facilities in Germany.

According to the Gazprom spokesman, in 2021, gas supplies to Italy, Germany, Turkey, Bulgaria, Serbia, Denmark, Finland, and Poland were larger than the previous year. Meanwhile, Europe, says Gazprom is engineering natural gas shortage by cutting off supplies via the Yamal-Europe pipeline.

JA51: a lot may depend on the number of shares for which they’re seeking authority. That piece of information was notable by its absence in the 20 December notification. If it’s anywhere near a billion, the market may smell a rat. As you say, Poundland is extremely late, way over budget and clearly way over the ability of the £12mm. Debenture to complete. Meanwhile, cudswallop under his multiple id’s on the other site is getting febrile. If the Interim MD has to issue another billion shares to complete the thing by June, cudswallop’s forecast of a share price of 2.022p will need to be halved. So an upside of 50% against a massive risk of losing one’s whole investment. And there’s little chance of a sidetrack being completed before the hedges kick in.

"Accordingly, the Company is now convening the GM to table resolutions to authorise the
Directors to allot further Ordinary Shares and to disapply statutory pre-emption rights in respect of
allotment up to a certain amount. This will give the Directors flexibility to allot further Ordinary
Shares in the future (whether to maintain covenants of the Saltfleetby Debt Facility or in the
context of the prospective Saltfleetby Equipment Procurement or more generally)"
