1347: yes, I agree. I’m flabbergasted that no one in a decision making position in any of the government, Bank of England, FCA, LSE/AIM, nor anyone in the Press, is taking any notice of such developments.

You’d have thought that the technical expert on the Board would have advised the inexperienced Interim MD that his cost estimates were a little on the optimistic side from the outset, what? I suppose a promotion and a vastly increased salary can’t have... no, let’s not go there. One would have to be a complete idiot not to research it for oneself before signing on the dotted line though, wouldn’t one? There’s reputation risk in this. The Interim MD has got everything wrong since he arrived. I dare say he’ll dress up Brockham as the big thing for the next fund raiser. Dear oh dear. Ocelot will be earning her money on this if they manage to raise more than half a million next month. It won’t be enough.

AlsoThese anti drilling activists have moaned fr 18 months and have been kicked in the teeth with Environment Agency draft permit decision. Point by point they've been taken down on #Brockham #Angs draft permit note. It's brilliantly played and the likes of #Mirasol #HeadintheSand hate exposure

Nearly 16 points per objectorHowever for Angus the Environment Agency, point by point rebutted their arguments.Let no one say otherwise but that Draft Permit Decision is absolutely POSITIVE for Brockham.Dare I say a game changer for us. In a positive way.

JA/JT Yes of course they knew a while back. As you know I've been saying for some time now that I expected first gas by May 2022 at best. It's become Theddlethorpe 2 and it looks like Poundland could end up with a higher cost base than Wingas had.

Anyway at the end of the day it's just more of the same from this lot isn't it and yet again gives a lie to their statements from acquisition in 2019 up to September 2020 that they could get to first gas for circa £2.5m by May to August 2020. Even with the onerous £12m funding they are clearly struggling and can't meet cost nor timescale targets.

However the system appears to let companies like these mislead market (in my opinion) time and time again, the NOMAD system simply doesn't work as intended and is just a fig leaf, as is the FCA regulation.
