Can Angus do a ukog 800% in 3 days, massive spike |
JT Not sure Katy is the ocebot, it would be disappointing if so.
The jayhawkers can believe what they want but the facts remain. The current production is below the P50 projection in the CPR. Around 75% of production is now hedged, 50% at a lower (now quite low) price. Skating on thin ice.
Cash flow generation is negative and they are saddled with royalties, debt repayments and have billions of shares in issue. Trafigura, like Mercuria, are laughing all the way to the bank and of course FESL, Aleph & Kemexon and others have made their wedge along the way. Other shareholders have been royally stuffed, entirely as I predicted ages ago.
So going fowards, the question is to what degree do Trafigura want to keep the old Anguish Energy bus trundling along on Snake Pass so they can live off the proceeds, which means financing those (high risk) drills, and what value do they see longer term in the storage?
Now we have some vague waffle about mergers (actually it will be more like a low ball take over), well if it suits Trafigura there will be one and I suspect 'erbert having served his purpose will go the same way as the hapless Lucan. |
1347: as you know, I think the Ocebot is the gorgeous pouting Katy, at whom Lord Lucan used to leer so amusingly in their interviews. So I dare say she’ll carry on. Re Aleph, I don’t know what that means for Angus. The mugs in Kansas think Trafigura are going to be up for further loans to enable Angus to acquire further assets, or to bid for companies, in order to give Angus a better chance of paying the promised dividend. You really have to be gullible to give that theory any credit at all, what? Ridiculous. Investors here should be very worried about the change in tone of recent announcements/interviews re Saltfleetby. Diversifying away from Poundland says it all. It’s a heavily depleted field, depleting far more quickly than they expected. They had a chance but couldn’t get the plant finished in time to benefit from astronomical gas prices, on which their hedges cost them huge amounts of money, and they allowed 5he time and cost of the sidetrack to multiply. They and the shareholders are on a path to further big losses and an inability to borrow money to drill more speculative wells. It’s not sustainable, is it? |
JT I've always regarded WH Ireland and Beaumont as being a bit whiffy, which is why I suspect that companies like Anguish Energy etc. use them. I wonder if the ocebot will be spun down now? Flagstaff are still around though so maybe not.
Oh did you notice that Aleph got quietly dropped as 'advisors' last March? Decks being cleared for the low ball offer (dressed up as a merger). I reckon they cut the deal ages ago, which is why 'erbert was put in charge in the first place. |
1347: you’ll be pleased with this RNS. share price Angel has been appointed sole broker and NomAd. Beaumont Cornish will be sorry to lose them. |
You're a winner , keep telling yourself that. |
Wasn't it a great punt ? Thanks for confirming |

I think takeover is happening 1066. Also expect we will hear more within a couple of weeks. This highly credible lady of AIM intimating something big within a week of 12th so could be news this week. |
JT May be just a ranp from a rather obvious pumper and dumper (who may have inside information) but it wouldn't surprise me as I've said before that 'erbert dialled the price right down by reducing the loan conversion floor, which proved to be a moveable floor, in order to facilitate a low ball takeout. The Anguish Energy bus is still on Snake Pass with a dodgy driver. |
1347: it slipped back a bit toward the end of the week but not much different from recent weeks; surely? Needs watching though.
The mugs in Kansas are excited about a tweet from LadyofAIM suggesting there will be a bid for Angus imminently! |
JT Judge for yourself:
Select the time period you are interested in, e.g. 01 July 2024 -> 31 July 2024
Then select Supplies -> Daily Actuals (Physical) -> Volume -> System Entry Volume, Saltfleetby, D+1
Other metrics are available but that's the main one I use. |
1347: perhaps the6 spent most of the 5 days fitting the acoustic hoods. 8 haven’t seen the latest data and can’t remember how to get it. Is it on a falling trend or up and down? |
